The last two stages of Alexander Taylor's stages of civilization are 7) From apathy to dependence; and 8) From dependence to bondage.

In this case is parental apathy leading to the dependence and bondage of their offspring? If the kids don't learn they will have no means to attain independence as adults. Sand summarizes: "Myart-Cruz doesn’t care about education, but rather prefers to build an army of angry and resentful children who are ready to serve the Marxist cause." That sounds like the next generation in CA (or at least LA) are being primed to move right into Stage 8. It also reminds me of what we are seeing in Portland and Seattle now. Good luck, LA!

On current Higher Ed, see Michael Tracey (on his bid to convey to Connecticut College information on the school's Australia-style lockdown policy), at

https://mtracey.substack.com/p/in-connecticut-the-new-permanent , about :

< Hilariously, in the run-up to my arrival at Connecticut College on Monday afternoon, I received a flurry of messages from supportive students notifying me that College Administrators had activated their own little version of DEFCON mode — so desperate as they evidently were to *prevent me* from getting onto the campus....

Even the local *town newspaper* was apparently on hand, later publishing an article that describes me ominously as a “controversial writer.” Oh, heaven forfend!

What a scandal, to occasionally provoke “controversy” as a journalist. I guess I should consider transitioning to doing *pliable PR* under the guise of journalism, which is what most people ostensibly in the profession do.

And then — wouldn’t you know it — within a few hours of my visit, the benevolent Dean, master of insufferably obnoxious emails, announced that they would be *eliminating the lockdown*.

He claimed to have just spoken to Anthony Fauci, which would be a nice little pretext, to make it seem like I of course had no role in hastening the decision....

The elation is temporary, however. *Twice-weekly* “surveillance testing” still persists at Connecticut College. This weekend students will presumably be back to normal socializing, thus increasing the *likelihood that positive* asymptomatic test results will be recorded. So there’s a strong chance, they could find themselves in another lockdown-type situation very soon.

The real culprit here is not students doing normal things like socializing with friends, but administrators — through a combination of paranoia and zealotry — imposing these totally superfluous “surveillance testing” regimes, that have ceased to have any utility whatsoever at this phase in the COVID chronicle. Especially among a population of *universally vaccinated* young adults.

I also got word that Georgetown University is *banning students from removing* their masks in class, even to take a sip of water, while also promoting its *snitch hotline*, for students to report on one another for violations.

Just like at Connecticut College, the student populations at Brown and Georgetown are almost *universally vaccinated*, after they had been mandated to do so.... >

Mark, why do you assume that Californians in any significant number voted for Newsome? You don't genuinely believe that 81 million Americans voted for Herr Sock Puppet based upon your many writings that rightly question the legitimacy of his election. So why do you seem to assume that Newsome has any, greater legitimacy? Every evidence is that Newsome used the same vote fraud tactics that worked so well for SPOTUS.

Indeed there is every indication that elections in California have been a charade for decades and likely served as the laboratory for honing the techniques needed by Democrats (and later Uniparty) to effectively steal just about any election, ensuring in the process absolute one party rule in CA. These techniques have methodically spread to CO, VA, TX, FL, etc...

So, on one hand we might take heart that CA voters are not, mainly, in favor of these policies. The support for recalling Newsome was real and substantial. The problem isn't the voting public but the fact that voting simply doesn't and cannot work with these criminals in charge. That's the depressing and grim reality. People like Cruz are supremely confident that the game is fixed in their favor so they do whatever they want without fear of political repercussions.

And this goes for 2022 as well. All the articles ringing alarm bells over the looming "disaster" for Dems in 2022 is info war, designed to get us all focused on 2022 and not the coup of 2020. Pure misdirection.

We have one, basic choice now: fight where we currently reside or move to a more Red state and take our stand there. The criminals will never allow themselves to be voted out
