This is interesting. Russia is calling BS on Turkey’s Erdogan—loud and clear. She doesn’t say this, but in fact Israel gets much or most of its oil via Turkey. Obviously, Zakharova’s statement had to have been cleared from the top, and it seems to me to be a demonstration of Putin’s confidence in his geopolitical position.

Erdogan, Zakharova and Israel
Erdogan: “Now 11 thousand children and women have been killed, the world is silent. First of all, because the USA and the West are silent.”
Maria Zakharova, Russian Foreign Ministry: "Recep, you too remained silent when the West, through Kyiv, was killing Russians - every day, day after day, for many years. You Turks not only remained silent, but planted weapons on Kiev, making money from Russian blood. Now the US and Israel are doing the same against the Arabs. But Russia does not sell weapons to Israel, but, on the contrary, stands up for Gaza. And Türkiye is gnashing its teeth in impotent rage, as we have been gnashing for 8 years. Türkiye, this is a lesson for you! If you indulge in lawlessness, this boomerang will definitely fly at you. Political games based on the blood and tears of other people's children turn into the blood and tears of your children. The same thing will happen to the Americans and to all European burghers." https://t.me/vicktop55/18284
The message to NATO is this. All those years that the collective West and its lackey in Ankara were threatening Russia, arming Ukro-Nazis to kill Russians in Odessa and Donbass, protecting the murderers—We Russians were taking names, making a list. There will be a price to pay. Russia was paying attention to Erdogan’s double dealing all along. It also gives added point to Medvedev’s recent diatribe against the Poles.
Will there be a war crimes tribunal? Word is that Russia is preparing exactly that. My own view is that Putin will, as always, prefer diplomacy—but that deals will be hard driven.
Maria is fire. I'm fairly sure that in Hasan Nasrallah's 11/11 speech his reference to "people who talk too much" was aimed fairly widely but applies with perfect specificity to Erdogan. Russia has his card marked and has done for a long time.
Well. I spent Sunday with the family, church, and some household tasks. Looks like I missed some news!
