Will We Need A New "Zhou Wing" For The National Archives?

Right. Instead of a Zhou presidential library—that would be too traditional. Why not a Zhou Wing of the National Archives, to house all the classified documents? Not only is this Garage Gate thing NOT going away, as we discussed yesterday—it actually appears to be metastasizing. For a Dem POTUS, I think when you’ve lost Dick Durbin, well, you’ve lost. The quotes are revealing in what they say about support for Zhou in the DC establishment—there really is none:

Zhou’s stature has been “diminished”.

Really! Can Durbin top that bit of understatement? Yes!

Zhou has “lost the moral high ground”.

Think about that for a moment and try to keep a straight face. Only Durbin could manage that.

Zhou has to take ultimate responsibility.

Uh, yeah. I think we knew that, but Durbin says it out loud. Or here’s Durbin beating the bleeding obvious, the proverbial dead horse:

Zhou’s handling of classified docs was “irresponsible” and “unacceptable.”

I guessI guess so, but isn’t that the story of a lifetime of Zhou’s behavior?

But consider where this could be going. Here’s Thomas Lifson on “the ‘six documents’ hoax”:

But a careful reading of the statement of Biden’s personal attorney Bob Bauer, on which this conclusion is based, reveals it to be at best a misunderstanding and at worst a hoax.

“DOJ took possession of materials it deemed within the scope of its inquiry, including six items consisting of documents with classification markings and surrounding materials, some of which were from the President’s service in the Senate and some of which were from his tenure as Vice President. 

“Six items consisting of documents with classification markings” is deceptively vague, and I would argue misleading language. What exactly are the “items”? Are they Bankers Boxes full of hundreds of documents? They could be. We don’t know, and so far, the DOJ has said nothing to the public to enlighten us.

Why stop at bankers’ boxes? Why not filing cabinets? Think big, is what I say. Dumpsters, maybe?

Here’s a fact that should never be forgotten:

The Bidens were involved in multiple deals with China involving hundreds of millions of dollars.

Gosh—that sounds like real money! Those deals surely were not arranged by mistake. Inquiring minds want to know whether the mishandling of classified docs played any role in the Biden Crime Family’s international business model. Michael Goodwin has a lot to say about that business today—but this will suffice for our purposes:

Joe and Hunter clearly were in cahoots on the influence-peddling scam that netted the family tens of millions of dollars. In fact, the more we learn, the more convinced I am that Joe’s role has been underestimated.

I believe the full truth, if we ever get it, will show that Joe was the mastermind and Hunter was the frontman and conduit for the payoffs. That’s the only arrangement that explains both the extraordinary amounts of money involved and why Joe still maintains the ridiculous lie he never even talked to Hunter about his son’s business.

The working theory for most people following the story has included the assumption that Hunter followed his father around the world as Joe, then veep, served as the Obama administration’s point man. According to this view, Hunter, the ultimate prodigal son, unscrupulously seized the opportunity to cut deals with foreign governments and companies in China, Ukraine, Russia and elsewhere.

Sounds like the sky’s the limit to this scandal. There are some very knowledgeable people behind this, probably very influential. Keep that in mind going forward. If Dick Durbin is publicly bailing on Zhou, the end is nigh.
