The Russian and Chinese leadership do not act based on emotion, nor on PR. The US leadership acts on these two things, and mistakes are made.

Russia is much more patient and wise than the US. I also see Russians knowing their country's history much more thoroughly than Americans know theirs.

I hope that your nation will have peace.

To highlight an issue your readers might have forgotten regarding China Mark, Trump's first move early on was to invite, or suggest that Russia should be allowed again in the G7.. Most probably the aim being to entice Russia away from China and the BRICS + bloc in the process.. Beside the stalled peace effort in Ukraine and the failure to restore full diplomatic relations with the Russians, Trump's other major setback is to fail to wreck China/Russia ties and the BRICS +... Trump's presidency has taken some knocks long before what are seeing taking place in LA and other places in the US.. (from Johannesburg)

Excellent point. Trump's ploy fell flat because Russia has a good two centuries of experience with the West's perfidy and rapaciousness. The Yeltsin years of Russia's humiliation are very much alive in Russia's collective memory. Also the CIA supported 10 yr Chechen war and the CIA/MI6 supported war on Russians in Ukraine. And that's just a few of the examples of why they don't trust us. Plenty more.

Late last night I read Simplicius' June 9 post:

"Iran Ups Ante as Israel Chafes for Face-Saving Escalation"

His summation of current US foreign policy mirrors the assessments of the men and Mark in Mark's article above:

"All of these contradictory stances clash into an incomprehensibly inert foreign policy potpourri that is sinking the US deeper and deeper into late-empire disaster."

Nicely put. Strategic ambiguity? That's playing with fire.

Freeman says, "I think the United States is in a pre-revolutionary situation." Right about that. I would call it a pre-civil war situation.

Civil war in the US in this time and age I doubt. It'd basically be putting the whole human race in jeopardy for obvious reasons.. The US is a nuclear superpower and is far advanced compared with the USSR in its last days.. A dissolution of the Union as currently constituted is more likely in my humble view.. It doesn't mean there's a guarantee that there won't be chaos and blood to some extent.. I've heard there's a film out painting a scenario such as this.. As a South African (black), I am wondering what's going through the minds of the group of Afrikaners who have just left for the US? It'd be nice to be the proverbial fly on the wall where they are being accommodated..

Indeed. And a reminder of how much energy Trump is being wasted on these foreign adventures instead of concentrating on his core area of concern: the home front.

The globalist grip in the US isn't going anywhere.. Trump is trying but the odds are stacked against him and his MAGA movement.. Watch the movement fizzle out in no time.. (from Johannesburg)

David, I agree that the globalists have a grip on most/much of the US--neocons, these globalists are called.

The heavy influence on our government is also from the Zionists. Are they the same people as the globalists?--perhaps in some areas.

I think that the Israeli Zionists exert the greatest pressure on Pres. Trump...so much so that I have wondered if they have threatened his family members with harm if he does not follow their directives.

In addition to the Judge Nap and Scott Ritter video that Mark links to at the beginning of the article, I highly recommend the conversation between the same two men on June 5. Scott lays it all out, saying "This is the part that needs to scare everybody~"

David, you are most welcome. The June 5 Judge-Ritter conversation was informative and powerful. Scott firmly said that M16/the British were behind the whole of Operation Spider's Web. Now this week Sergey Lavrov has publicly said that the British were responsible. He does not airily toss 'maybes' out--he speaks what IS.

Scott Ritter has good resources, and he is a good analyst!

Good to hear from an upright American.. The world needs the US whose top leadership understand that the US isn't like any other country.. They need to be acting like the Russians and the Chinese who know too well that humanity depends upon their wisdom. Not that the Russians and the Chinese are without their faults, depending on what one may perceive.. As Africans, we are caught up in the middle..
