I would think that Putin is perfectly happy with the present state of affairs. You want peace? Sue me.

He has achieved much more than he set himself out to do when he started this, and only has the problem of finding enough bombs and shells to keep destroying all the equipment we are sending over before it can be employed. It's a good thing we have no problem finding the money for this now that we have the "Fiscal Responsibility Act" with no debt ceiling, so the kiddies in Congress have a credit card with no spending limit, and the Ukrainians still have a supply of cannon fodder.

I think this is the Alex Christoforou video Mark cites. Maybe not available on YouTube, but it is on Bitchute:

A-10 Warthogs, too old, too slow, too ugly---even if it does extremely well and is cheap. Must have moar F-35s❗

We can build airframes capable of taking G-forces in excess of what a human can tolerate. But, as DepDave knows, "no human pilot in the cockpit, can't have that"

Same argument for the CVN, essentially obsolete, now that unmanned airframes, if produced, would be essentially superior to 'traditional' piloted carrier aviation.

No more big-decks should be built. Use what we have until they are sent for scrapping then be done with it.

Listening Mercouris now. He's saying that the breakthrough, to succeed, had to happen in 1-3 days. Didn't happen. Plan B seems to be kill more Ukrainians.

Nothing new.

From April 2021:

and while looking for that above link (and, btw, never found any US sources for the same info) I came across this from 2017:

In addition to coastal patrol boats, apparently the US is also sending cutters, a larger vessel:

But news like this cannot be good for the Vietnamese CG, nor for the US sponsors:

The A-10 was, as far as I recall, the last successful US aviation weapons project, developed at around the same time as the F-16.
