Last night, in an exchange in the comments, a commenter pointed out that Tom Luongo has said (whether to patrons or publicly, I’m not sure) that he doesn’t believe Trump will be behind a Middle East war.
No to Rubio, no to Pompeo, not a dollar more for Ukraine, not Trump’s fight so back away from the burning automobile and stay far away, close most of the American military bases in Europa, let them swing in the breeze. The noise you hear from the Neocons is their disbelief that they no longer have power or re even relevant to the MAGA agenda, which must come first. Time’s up amd time is short to make the sweeping changes we need. Show these clowns no mercy.
I assumed Trump would never have anything to do with Pompeo again. When I saw him suggested by “Politico” as a likely Sec. Def. I knew for sure he was out. Hopefully Trump brings Chris Miller back. We need more Lt Colonels, specially Green Berets, to shut down the Big Army pipe dream procurements.
I don't think the USA has any control over Israel at this point. Regardless of what they'd like to see happen, it should be obvious by now that you're dealing not just with psychopathic leadership, but the whole country seems to have gone off the rails into some sort of mass formation psychosis. Even those that vehemently oppose Netanyahu are afflicted with the disease, the only rational Israelis having already left the country.
What we have here is very similar to what happened in Cambodia under the Khmer Rouge regime. It took Vietnamese intervention to end that horror show, just as it will take Iranian intervention to end the Zionist regime. The real test is whether the USA will try to stop them, and once the fur starts to fly I don't see how that will be possible, Trump or no Trump.
"These two countries [UK & Germany] had backed a world war against Russia as a means to get out of their debt traps by looting Russia."
It is still hard to wrap my mind around the idea that Western interests really planned to reboot the looting of Russia. To secure control over the government to secure control over the natural resources, to be used or held in store at the discretion of Western interests.
The Great Re-loot.
The revenge of the Oligarchs aligned with Western interests.
My guess? Neocons using their WSJ platform to *suggest* this nonsense to Trump:
Megatron @Megatron_ron
NEW: Trump’s team is reportedly drafting a new “peace plan” for Ukraine according to WSJ:
1. Suspend Ukraine’s NATO ambitions for 20 years.
2. Create a demilitarized zone along the current frontline. No U.S. troops.
3. U.S. to continue arms supplies in exchange.
If they think that Putin is retarded and will accept a 20-year ceasefire so that the US can continue to build military logistics and send weapons to Ukraine, then "Trump's team" are bigger morons than Biden's team.
I don't read the lack of a Putin congratulatory call that way. I think he may be avoiding that to make sure that the Russia collusion business is put to rest. Although I do believe that they may be cautiously hopeful that Trump will be a peacemaker. He says he wants peace and the vast majority of his voters are sick to death of the killing and destruction.
I also think that the neocons and the Rinos have gotten a message from the size of this win and that some of the weak sisters amongst them will now find a little bit of courage to get off of that reservation.
I wish I coulda put this in the post, because it does hint at what's behind Trump's nice-nice toward Iran:
MaxB:
"The first Trump Administration gave Netanyahu basically carte blanche to annex large parts of the West Bank so that there are many areas where there could be escalation. And the only thing I think slowing down this train is the fear of an Iranian response. And it's a fear in Washington--an Iranian response--could [tank? ]the global economy. That fear extends to the Trump Administration. He doesn't want to come in with oil prices surging, with possibly the UAE under attack, so he *does* want to shut this war down--but will he do anything to do it? I don't think so."
I do find Max's comments more thoughtful than many of the others. OTOH, nobody seems to be making much of Trump's peace overtures to Iran--surely that has meaning?
The RNC lawyers or whoever needs to get a handle on these slow ballot counts on Congrressional seats., It is no coincidence they are are all flipping to the Dems. Trump will find himself again with a razor slim majority in Senate and a hostile House of Dems and Rinos.

Agree about the Neocons. BTW, who is this EMB cutout? Where are the glasses? Where is the cigar? Accept no imitations! :)

Yeah, it's an interesting situation. The oppo doesn't have to play by Scholzie's rules.

Abdul-Malik al-Houthi talks about the cow (Saudi king) and the one (Trump) who milked her so much that it hurt her
"Scholz and the rest of Europe are desperate to throw money into Ukraine to secure those who guarantee Ukraine's debt and keep them from collapsing.
Who has the power to get governments to act like this?
And if you say "Jews" you are disqualified. "

People in the US have such hubris. They have the idea that what happens in the Middle East somehow depends on their decisions.
They should read this:

Here is my take on what should be Trump's economic policy via my work for RFK Jr.

If Arizona takes days, weeks to count votes, how did Fox news call AZ before the polls closed in 2020?
Maricopa County to Cook County, Hold My Beer.
I think you might have confused the tail and the dog here. But I suppose we shall see!
