Ok, if that’s how voters really feel, then how in hell does China Mitch think it’s gonna be so hard to sweep the House and Senate?

Honestly, these folks make Boss Tweed and the boys at Tamanny Hall look like a bunch of Sunday school teachers!!

Welcome to the 3rd World, via TGP--this would only be justified by claiming Trump is a flight risk:

President Trump on Monday said the FBI seized his three passports in its raid of his Mar-a-Lago residence.

“Wow! In the raid by the FBI of Mar-a-Lago, they stole my three Passports (one expired), along with everything else. This is an assault on a political opponent at a level never seen before in our Country. Third World!” Trump said on his Truth Social page on Monday.

The magic (genius?) of President Trump. Watch their credibility sink and sink and sink, til they have none left at all for taking this guy on.

I would not argue with a fool while they are busy being foolish.

I think it is very sad that binary politics grips all 5-Eyes countries and all representatives only do what their overlords dictate. There is no left and right in reality. There is only obedience to a globalist agenda which operates under the radar, sowing division and hysteria to conceal its existence.

The evidence is there, if you know where to look, but neither left nor right is wise enough to dig for it and, even when presented with it, they seem incapable of acting to curtail it.

Well, that is merely a small part of it, I am sure. This obedience to the agenda predates nonsense policies like 'diversity' by several centuries. Please read my article. Then you might see what I am referencing.

I've read the Harvard speech a number of times over the years (from shortly after it was given until now). Over all that time, I have never had a change of opinion that Solzhenitsyn was absolutely correct in his observations about the West. Everyone should read it to understand the cultural and political trajectory of the West over the last 60 years. He was perhaps uniquely positioned to offer this perspective due to his experience, eloquence, integrity, courage, and passion.

The Russian critique of the liberal west goes back a long way. Certainly to Dostoevsky.

Yes and no. It's a very good article. But David S. Ferriero's hysteria didn't set off anything because the partisan hysteria of an archivist don't control anything in the criminal justice process. That's strictly up to DoJ and FBI and they don't have to pay any attention to some archivist's hysteria--unless they decide that they want to. This was all decided on at the highest levels, way beyond Ferriero.

What about the bit where he said he was afraid of the J6 protesters because if they knew what was in his building as they marched by they might endanger him or the contents? What does this mean? What does NARA have that patriots might find so abhorent?

"he gave them the opening to do so"

Don't count on that. The archives excuse was probably in the planning going back to November, before Ferriero ever watched the Trumps depart. Lisa Monaco probably had it all worked out before Ferriero--not a legal operative--ever knew. He was probably instructed what to do.

It's important to understand chain of command. Ferriero had essentially zero say in any legal decisions. As we saw from Garland's admission that he signed off on the Raid, these decisions came from the top. After 4+ years of "get Trump" 2015-2020, it's hardly speculative to suggest that the post Jan 2021 and beyond continuation of "get Trump" was in the works BEFORE he left office
