Ridiculous story here. Tiny town in NH with 800 residents was credited with giving 1,100 votes to D candidate Hassan. Apparently Trump spoke imprudently about DeSantis.

Until you address the still rampant election fraud, anything else you say about elections is kind of irrelevant. Should everyone on the right vote really really hard just to have the computer system thrown in another 50,000 fake team blue votes anyway? Give me a break.

I wonder on Trump:

Trump has a proven record of manipulating the media, and shattering Overton Windows. Unfortunately Trump creates a huge mess afterwards, it’s not a clean victory like DeSantis does.

The old saying:

“I learned long ago never to wrestle with a pig. You get dirty, and besides, the pig likes it.” George Bernard Shaw

There is a huge effort by the eGOP / Never Trumpers to blame Trump for the Red Puddle.

Did Trump deliberately pour gasoline on this effort with his lame attacks on DeSantis and Youngkin? As a way to get the Never Trumpers to over extend? As a way to garner attention for his coming announcement to bypass all the censorship? What will his announcement really be?

And I’m noticing cracks in the matrix. American Thinker is full of article’s questioning the narrative. Don Surber had a post about the GOP’s track record of the last 3 elections, and how the top people should be replaced. Roger Kimbal’s latest also questions the narrative of scapegoating Trump.

I'm not saying Trump is to blame for the debacle of 2022. He's coming across right now as trashing anybody who doesn't kiss his ass. The problem with that is that the US is a big country and can't be ruled that way--as he has proven. The flip side, as always, is that he has to be totally clean re corruption, because he has to be the most investigated guy in US history. That cancels out a lot of faults. I'm waiting to see how it shakes out.

My 2 Cents on Taiwan.

1. What happened in HK had a huge impact on Taiwan. It showed China can't be trusted.

2. China has been very aggressive in the South China Sea, and managed to create a lot of enemies.

3. Taiwan is still in Covid Hysteria territory. The backlash to the booster shots, continued masking, etc. have not happened. The current President is seen as doing a very good job.

4. China is blamed for Covid in Taiwan.

5. Most Taiwanese are happy with the status quo.

6. Blue Party (KMT), is not doing that great. My source on this is a person that if you cut her, her blood is probably Green (The President's Party).

7. China keeps on progressing on building the ability to invade China. They probably still have a ways to go. But, they are building a true deep sea navy, and are building faster than the US. Yes, they have a large coast guard, as well as Auxiliaries that are officially Civilian.

8. China has a huge demographic issue, where they are aging faster, than the economy. And zero Covid is hurting them.

9. Taiwan's Military is more Blue, but the only ones that want to fight are the Greens. But the Greens are suspicious of the military, since historically when Taiwan was a dictatorship, it was used against them.

10. Taiwan's military has serious logistics and effectiveness issues. The end of the draft caused more issues. The military is seen as a low status job. And a few Chinese Spying issues. And a habit of buying Gold Plated Expensive Military stuff with lots of prestige, and ignoring the nuts and bolts, cheap, effective items.

11. Taiwan has a VERY, umm, Energetic Democracy.

12. Taiwan is building their own diesel submarines that should be ready soon. This will have a huge impact.

13. Taiwan's government is looking into drones. And of course China has a massive amount of drones.

14. Taiwan has been developing their own medium range missiles. China seriously out numbers them in this area, but it may offer some deterrence

15. The new Silk Road / Belt Project China was pushing had not had the economic payoff China thought it would have.

16. China has a huge youth educated employment issue.

17. China is doing massive changes in their society. Kids playing to much video games? Make it so they can't. After school tutoring costing to much making having kids to expensive, destroy the entire sector. TV being too unmoralistic - create more restrictions, and massive propaganda effort in schools. Wang Hunin is leading these efforts, and has kept his top leadership position.

18. Fenatyl is Opium War 2.0, and it's brilliant. If China wanted to shut it down, they could. Why should they? It just hurts the US.

18. Massive changes in the Chinese Leadership. It was after Mao, more of a split leadership. Now, it's just him. Escorting his predecessor Hu Zintao out, WOW!!!

19. The Elite Capture that China has done around the world. Wow. My guess is the only surprise for the Chinese was how cheap the US Elites were.

20. China is focused on regaining it's historical position in the world.

21. China seems to have gone back to favoring state run companies, over private run enterprises. This may hurt the economy a lot.

22. It's become too expensive for the average Chinese to buy a house. There is a bubble in Real Estate. China will take some type of action to make it so average Chinese an afford housing, and have kids. They will take some type of action to increase the birth rate. I have no idea what.

23. Lots of China is still incredibly poor. You have the super rich coast, and the inland is poor.

24. Lots of lies going on with statistics in China, so it's very hard to know the actual economic status. The use of lights / illumination at night compared to other countries was a new one, that hinted China was a lot poorer than most people think.

25. China is making a major effort to improve the effectiveness of the military. And look for non traditional ways to defeat the US in conflict, such as cyber warfare. China has an amazing cyber warfare capability, we have not heard about for a while.

26. Chinese made computer and telecomm equipment may have backdoors. Huawei may be partially owned by the Chinese Government. And China can access ANY document in China in any computer system per their law.

27. Taiwan’s Government has been pushing a Southern Strategy to lesson its economic ties with China.

28. China is frequently flying planes around Taiwan, sending masses of planes nearby, and even drones.

29. Many Western companies are trying to reduce their supply chain in China to reduce business risk.

30. Vietnam is super hot for Taiwan investments I have heard.

31. The sudden downfall of Ma, billionaire, showed the limitations of rule of law. Western companies are finally figuring out their market share in China, is what the government allows.

32. China has been frequently using what Taiwan imports from China as economic weapons. Silica, Fruit, etc.

33. China is telling communist party members reduce their investments in the US. My guess is to lessen risk of sanctions.

And no, I have no clue what games the Biden Administration is doing with China. My guess is China is happy sit back, to let the US destroy itself economically, while avoiding direct war with the US, but expanding it's influence as much as possible and keep on expanding it's military and economic power.

Biden/Fetterman 2024. It’s a no-brainer

Expand full comment

Why wouldn't they "win" just like Fetterman "won" if you just let team blue run a computer program that dumps 50,000 fake votes in whenever needed? Will we beat that if we vote really really hard?

You probably mean "Colombia", though I can't know how Biden would spell it, and perhaps he doesn't know either how he would spell it either.

Jim Jordan is not an improvement over Kevin McCarthy.

Will Chamberlain

@willchamberlain

Reminder that Jim Jordan has been throttling Republican efforts to take on Big Tech for years.

His memo from the hearings back in 2020 shows that his strategy was to make consumers "aware" of censorship so the "market can respond."

While stopping antitrust in its tracks.

I had heard about the McCarthy / Ryan DeSantis or Youngkin plot a few days before the election from Richard Baris:

If the Politico article is correct, then Trump is an effing brain dead egomaniac--and has to be kicked to the curb. Regardless of whether America First loses some Hispanic and black Trump loyalists. If they are so ignorant as to support Trump despite his folly then they aren't worth having in the tent.

It’s more important for the eGOP to purge the Gop of any Trump Supporters and Maga types than control the Senate and/or house.

And we can’t talk about election fraud either, due to Trump!

AZ – Masters $9m vs Kelly $73m

GA – Walker $32m vs Warnock $76m

NV – Laxalt $12m vs Cortes $47m

NH – Bolduc $2m vs Hassan $36m
