Today I’ve been raking leaves—the old fashioned way—and listening to long podcasts. However, I came across two very brief items that are informative and entertaining. The first is a two minute or so outtake from a Luongo-Krainer discussion that runs, in full, for nearly 2 years. This brief segment explains why Putin has been so extraordinarily patient in the face of outrageous provocations:
Next, and by contrast, is a 20 minute discussion from The Duran about the reported hack of UK comms. The two Alexes have a lot of fun with this, but the bottom line is that nobody is denying this:
Now, going back to that first brief video. I’m listening to the full version—not even half way through. However, Luongo said some things that really enlightened me regarding some puzzling recent events. To put this in perspective, you need to bear in mind three things. First, the Turks and Iranians have been enemies for many centuries. Second, Azerbaijanis are a Turkic people and the Turkish and Azerbaijani languages are mutually intelligible to a significant degree. Third, Azerbaijanis are easily the largest minority in Iran—there are 15 million Azerbaijanis in Iran, compared to 8 million in Azerbaijan proper. Pictures always help. Here’s a map showing where Azerbaijani is spoken. It doesn’t label the countries, but look at the white border lines—the northern Azeri areas are Azerbaijani, the southern areas are in Iran. The grey area more or less surrounded by blue is Armenia—note that there is a very short border connecting Armenia and Iran:
So, here we go with Luongo’s narrative, which he says he heard directly from unidentified “Iranians”.
Back in 2016 there was a coup attempt against Erdogan in Turkey. Luongo says he was told that Putin learned of the coup attempt and warned Erdogan—who fled to Iran. Putin, of course, has long had cordial relations with Iran, and presumably arranged this safe haven for Erdogan. The result was that, when Erdogan was on his cell phone telling his security forces to hold their ground against the coupsters, he was calling them from Iran. Further, the coup was led by the US and UK from the Incirlik Air Base. Luongo pointed out that the next time Putin and Erdogan met publicly, Erdogan embraced Putin.
Well, it’s an interesting story. It also explains current events, which Luongo goes into. Recall that Azerbaijan—which is said to be run by MI6—launched a war against Armenia, breaking what had been a long lasting cease fire. This occurred in September, 2022. Turkey supported its Azeri kinsmen, despite the presence of Russian peacekeeping forces. Iran, on the other hand, has traditionally supported the Christian Armenians against the Muslim Azeris. This unexpected event happened at an important juncture of the Ukraine conflict, and put Russia in a bit of a bind. However, the war was halted fairly quickly. More recently, Iran has conducted massive war games along its border with Azerbaijan. Luongo’s claim is that Putin told Erdogan to put an end to the war, and also called in Iran to apply pressure.
The major point is that the US/UK attempted to start up another front in the war against Russia, but that Russia was able to control the situation without prejudice to its SMO in Ukraine.
Luongo also speculated to the effect that he believes that Wall St. and Trump have made up, and will be allies going forward. He speculated that John Roberts recently blocked a lower court order that would have given Congress Trump’s tax records. He attributes that to Wall St. influence at the SCOTUS. He says the same thing about the spate of election law cases going against the Dems. This means, he says, that the Dems will not be allowed to steal this election. Finally, he says that Musk bought Twitter to get the DMs between journalists, the Intel Community, and politicians. As protection, which is why the first thing he did was fire the Twitter engineers and bring in his Tesla people to get the backups. It’s about the oppo research.
I will repeat what I said back in 2020. The Arizona case that Luongo cites was already in the works and was destined to go against the Dems. This is fun, however.
You missed a point: Nancy Pelosi, just back from her "peacekeeping" trip to Taiwan (which Dennis Kucinich says was likely initiated by the White House), soon after lead another congressional trip to ... Armenia ... to assure them of our steadfast support in their struggle against Azerbaijan. This despite the fact that Armenia has traditionally been supported by Russia and Azerbaijan is best buddies with Turkey, our NATO ally. Azerbaijan's attack on Armenia in September was probably done with NATO encouragement to distract Russia from the war in Ukraine
One helluva listen, Mark! (Krainer/Luongo). I bet your yard is now immaculate with not a leaf in sight!🍁
