Stunning comment, if ever a claim to a colonialist agenda, this would be it. A century too late. Where do these people get their grey matter? At the military discards store?

the Book...."The Devil's Chessboard.....yep

I try to put my examples into a realist time..most of Dulles bro's friends, are long gone... Always remember...there are different levels of Awakening.....Til patriot's get familiar w/each other....I try to quote stmts. that at least the now 30-40 yr old's recognize the names.....But...you are absolutely correct.

Let's go back further...Woodrow Wilson..."Dr.Jill" dedicated her book to MRS. Edith Wilson.....Woodrow was incapacitated for many years..(stroke) the Mrs...actually ran things with Woodrow filmed always behind a desk. Interesting....similarities.....

Lots of people have speculated that Jill = Edith from the very beginning of Zhou's term. However, Jill has shown no aptitude or ability for exercising or projecting power (not that those qualifications mean anything to Democrats). She has enough trouble speaking and choosing clothes to wear that aren't cringe inducing.

Pretty crappy at cutting her own bangs too. However on the plus side it does make her appear more Ruskieish.

In charge? Ukraine flag? We are not sleepwalking into war. We are fat, drunk, and stupid-stumbling into it. Let us hope that Putin continues to ignore our idiotic provocations which perhaps include this clownish ‘ambassador.’

I could be wrong, but it appears the new ambassador wore a dual-flag pin (U.S. / Ukraine) to her meeting with Putin. Tacky. No wonder Vladimir Vladimirovich unloaded on her.

You wonder why we even bother with an ambassador when we continue NOT listening to other leaders and statesmen, in this case Putin, instead just producing more of the reheated, stale narrative for domestic political consumption. I like the “lower level Liz Truss” comparison - but I think Liz had better hair! Sorry, no laughing matter.

I do believe that this has to be the worst, most inept, most incompetent, most arrogant, most condescending and generally most ignorant administration in the history of the country. Nothing but a bunch of half-baked amateur wannabes with Biden being at the top of the pile! Manure does come in piles doesn’t it, or is it heaps? If the country survives, we’ll never live this down.

Well, at least the snowflake gets the drift. Will she ever progress to the point of beginning to understand Putin's position and what he says? Truly disturbing that millions of lives are potentially dependent on the competence of someone like this.

Bravo, President Putin!!!

It speaks volumes to the hubris and smugness of the American "diplomat" Corps that they feel " they are in charge" of the countries to which they are posted.

Exactly! The points you make in your second paragraph have been ignored for years and more people are finally recognizing them. "Not a destination for investor capital" is exactly what Davos wants. The more volatility there is in our society and our markets the better as far as they are concerned. Very important to understand.

Yes Obie is in his "3rd-term" BUT, I've archived enough info over the years to confidently state; this actually "started" w/ Poppi Bush. (may he rot in hell) & became the Uniparty through Poppie's (Sr.) beginning in the CIA w/ him being filmed in Dallas, in the 60's.

Well said. What has been often missing in many discussions of recent years has been the concept put forth by two Ivy league professors that came to be known as the Cloward-Piven strategy of overwhelming the state to achieve the destruction and transformation of the country into a Marxist totalitarian state (Progressives refer to it as social democracy where Autocracy is considered democracy in their demented thinking). Penthouse Bolsheviks and their NEOCON brothers and sisters are our greatest internal threat. They have the means to buy politicians, military leaders and corporate leadership to enact their perverted vision of our country and globally the world.

eugyppius said it best, these women are "head girls." I cannot comprehend that this total and complete loser would think she would be charge of the meeting with Putin. This doesn't bode well for the end of the war in Ukraine.

Sorry for being obtuse. With idiots like this in charge, representing us, not rational people, we will continue this pointless proxy war with Russia. More dead, billions spent with no hope of defeating Russia, not that we should. Russian policy seems sane, it is acting in its national interest unlike the neocons running the US into the ground.

No, history tells us that there have been a few great women in positions of power and influence. There were also three fillies who won the Kentucky Derby. That proves nothing about fillies in general. It only proves that there were three fillies who had what it takes to win that race. The same is true of those aforementioned great women. They prove nothing about women in general.

Can I get a hail yes for Margaret Thatcher? Hold my beer.

Expand full comment
dissonant1's avatar

Hell yes. Thatcher was among the greatest and most successful women leaders of all time. She was also a rarity among politicians in that she had morals, a great mind, plans that would work, convictions, and courage. She will likely never be given her due as long as the liberal media as it currently exists persists. She would have been a successful Boadicea had not she been stabbed in the back by her own party. Sort of like the '80s GOPe and Reagan, and the current GOPe and Trump.
