Trump came at a time when TELEVISION had ceased to be the effective medium anymore, as in no one on any side in politics takes it seriously. It no longer shapes humans.
We are now in a paradigm “shift” from the old to the new. Robots that make decisions/replace humans, versus human souls. Get ready for the new “culture war,” as the West rebuilds/retrieves “morality.” This will require new “elites” throughout the West.
The next four Trump years will start to be more obvious of where things are going and new battle lines.
I don’t know too much about Watergate except what I have read and listened to by one of the contributors to Power Line Blog. It was a couple of years ago. Fascinating. Put the prevailing “narrative” that I grew up with in perspective. Nixon must’ve felt grateful he was allowed to get out alive as opposed to the other president that the deep state removed earlier.
As for the Vatican II stuff. My dad would rail against it while I was growing up. Again, I didn’t fully understand or grasp what was going on really. Then I fell away from the faith for many years and only in the last ten have come back. But I read and listen to a guy that runs the Remnant out of Minnesota, Michael Matt I believe is his name. He just did produced a documentary on the scandal of Vatican Ii, and he is a staunch defender of the Latin Mass.
Satan hates Latin. I often wonder if that has anything to do with the powers that be trying to shun the traditional Latin Mass. I don’t know.

It’s basically trying to introduce a mechanism to reinterpret Vatican 1 to make previous primacy statements amenable to ecumenism.
