I was not expecting "Ukrainian Terror in the West" to be the next pretext for the US government to increase its surveillance and control of people to keep people safe, but covid is over and the climate emergency isn't an emergency, so some good old-fashioned terror will get the job done.
This looks like a "Get out of Jail" card for the neocons. They will claim, rather like they did over Vietnam, that they would have won the war if it hadn't been for the lacklustre performance of the regime they were supporting. As for Ukrainian terrorism, if it happens, let's hope they target the right people and not innocent civilians.
