Ukraine is the new Afghanistan - a war that the West doesn't care about winning for the next 50 years as long as it can be a vehicle for money laundering of our tax dollars to our oligarchy/political class. Does Poland not see they are next if the Russians overrun Ukraine? Does Romania? At least Orban has the guts and intelligence to not volunteer Hungary for the successor role.

All three have been forced together by tyrants at some point in their relatively short histories. Odd, isn't it, how these orphaned provinces and enclaves almost seem to have been created with a view to triggering violent dissent at some convenient future time. The love of the Glorious Dead is strong here in the UK. (Which did a lot of the map drawing)
