We the people don’t much matter anymore in this so called republic. I’m revoking my consent to be governed by such liars and thieves.

Thanks Mark for taking a huge amount of time to keep your readers informed on this horrible stain on our Government. The scope of what happened, and the amount of people involved is breath taking.

It’s incredibly discouraging we have two systems of justice. The good news is this the corruption is slowly is being exposed and confirmed. Your analysis helps make it easier to get some understanding of what happened.

I wish there were real judicial consequences for the fbi, doj, politicians, and other actors that perpetuated this nasty political dirty trick that hurt the US incredibly, but I foresee slaps on the wrists at most. Clinesmiths consequences were telling.

Kelly is dead wrong. It's not that she "lied about her opponent." It's that she orchestrated a criminal conspiracy against her opponent, including after he was elected.

Lying about opponents is defamation, but lying to the FBI/CIA/DoJ is, indeed, a criminal act. The difficult part for Durham is to tie Sussmann's actions directly to Hillary. Mook didn't do that.

Of course, we don't know what Durham has at this point. Given that Shrillary tweeted about the Alfa Bank "connection" and that she apparently approved the passing of the connection to the feds, what is the likelihood that those were the only communications that she ever had on that particular subject, let alone on the "dossier"? It beggars belief that Durham doesn't have more on her, particularly given that Mook, Sullivan, and Palmieri (her inside HFA team) were all conversant (and involved). I agree with your prediction that there is a decent shot that Durham will roll them all up in a criminal conspiracy, as the elements are already open source intelligence. It's just a matter of connecting the dots and getting one or more of them to turn state's evidence.

Connecting the dots or getting someone to flip isn't so easy in a case like this. Hillary certainly seems to have been smart enough to 1) never have committed anything to digital form, and 2) kept approvals general. There's nothing in Mook's testimony that says she approved passing anything to the FBI. I believe she did, but that's not the same thing as having a witness who will confirm it.

@PaulSperry30

BREAKING: On top of the $30k her husband Judge Cooper pumped into Dem coffers (inclg $5K to DNC), Cooper's wife Dorothy "Amy" Jeffress donated $26,800 to Dems -- inclg $2,700 to HILLARY in 2016. Sussmann billing Hillary campaign is at the heart of trial Cooper is hearing.

Recall that Sessions "had to" recuse himself because he talked to a Russian once.

Cooper gets to hear a case against his peeps and seats the defendant's daughter's friend on the jury.

Nothing to see here...

How?

- no criticism from MSM

- no criticism from superiors / oversight at his level court system

- no criticism from superior court system (could change upon appeal if Sussmann is acquitted)

- no criticism from Congress (may change Jan 2023 with a GOP majority)

- no professional conscience telling him he should

i've been convinced by a lawyer that the laws Trump cite in his case that the statute of limitations have run out for a civil case. Seems hard to imagine that Trump's lawyers would make such a dramatic error but there you go.

Lawsuits are not always about winning in court.

And a smart layer can find ways around the statute of limitations.

And a smart judge can find ways to disqualify a lawsuit.

It’s a shame that the venue makes such a difference.

And many good lawyers are afraid of being ostracized if they work for Trump.

Thanks - fair enough.

I think he certainly deserves his day in court and damages, but I ain't holding my breath.

The damages he's asking would break the Clinton Foundation.

I always wondered who will go for the RICO to strip them all of their personal assets.

That's the only way to really punish them (outside prison).

All of the federal conspirators will get their fed retirements unencumbered otherwise - there are no claw back or reduction in time / grade like in the military retirement system.

A huge flaw in the federal personnel system.
