Law prof Jonathan Turley has an excellent article out that savages, but politely, the revelation that Dem District Hack Beryl Howell’s approval of a secret subpoena for Trump’s Twitter records—and her agreement that Trump is a flight risk. Read the full article at the link (which also links to the “opinion” by Howell):
three days after the pre-dawn raid turned fatal for the suspect, there has been no direct claim that Roberston pointed a gun at anyone.
Reports after the incident used anonymous sources to claim that Robertson was “armed” at the time of the raid.
being “armed” is not a justification to shoot a suspect,
it’s what the FBI isn’t saying that says the most. If Robertson did point a weapon at the agents, why hasn’t the FBI come out and revealed that yet? Doing so would quell questions about the shooting. Body cam footage has to exist, as well, because FBI agents are required to wear them during pre-planned raids.
Vivek Ramaswamy left Republican voters scratching their heads after he said in an interview that he wants to evaluate giving pardons to members of the Biden family if he's elected president.
I was reading Turley's latest article at The Hill this morning. It's overall as good as one would expect--sets out all the facts that show this is Garland putting a coverup in motion. But he inserts a few lines about how DoJ was widely respected under his Good Friend Bluto, and is despised under Garland. Could he seriously think that the Bluto DoJ was respected BECAUSE Bluto was running it, or was that respect a function of who was president? Let's be real, lawprof! And anyway, Bull Durham coverup. C'mon, man!
We've seen this before, right? Remember Bull Durham, and Bluto appointing him SC for the same reasons?

Think this is progress? Don't be naive. This lets the Justice Department withhold evidence, withhold testimony, stonewall Congress, and delay results until after the election using the claim, "it's under investigation by Special Counsel." Just a cover-up.
Hunter Biden charges may go to trial. The prosecutor moved to relocate a trial to DC or California. Biden is likely to be acquitted in either venue for the same reason Trump would be convicted - they're all Democrats. DOJ corruption knows no bounds.
Very predictable way to tie things up and keep it out of the media; very slick way to avoid a need to pardon Hunter & friends. Going to become a leak-war now. Looks like the Dems really plan on running with Zhou after all. Incredible, very end-of-Rome kinda stuff. In. Our. Face.
Does anyone have any remaining doubt that Nancy and Turtle cooked up the fake 'insurrection', kept Sund in the dark, and then let the 'insurrection' unfold without National Guard intervention in order to frame Trump?
One item Turley doesn't explicitly point to his that Judge Howell now has a federal court in record as agreeing that Trump is a flight risk. This seems a predicate to a future denial of bond - ie, a path to put Trump in jail ahead of his trial. Note that Judge Howell was a federal judge supervising the grand jury for special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe into Russian interference in the 2016 United States elections.
Yes; I'm having trouble finding it by web search, but I believe I read recently that it was Judge Howell that issued a most unusual order covering denial of pre-trial release for a *group* (many 10's) of Jan 6 defendants. The article noted this was highly irregular, as the protocol requires considerations of pre-trial detention to be made by the Judge for the case on an *individual* basis, so seriously is the disposition of the release or hold question considered.
End qualified immunity, that would be a strong (frought with its own difficulties) start. Some form of redress & accountability out of prosecutorial/judicial abuse needs to be available
Perhaps we need something analogous to “Internal Affairs” for trial judges; and they could audit the case record and evaluate claims made by the defendant and his attorneys. This could be done in conjunction with an appeal, or as a separate, independent, action. In political cases it is better to let a crook go free, than to ruin an innocent man’s life. These political cases are different . . we need to think outside that box, and end double standards.
A genetic disposition to exhibit their ghastly internal ugliness in their external appearance, yes. Klaus in drag that’s hilarious and quite frankly a remarkable likeness indeed.
Dear Cosmo and Joseph K: nah, please don't go down the jokey 'genetic dispo' path. I like humor, dark or otherwise too, but this path is de-humanizing; it is part of how the left can end up so awful - lack of limiting principles that allow them to view non-leftists as not human.
Dear Cosmo TK, Joseph K, Castelletto: I want to thank you for your responses. I've been mulling this dialogue over, and I think I got this wrong in my 'please don't' input - an own goal on my part. Mea culpa, sed homo sum. I let an emotional twang over-run a very important free speech principle: I apologize for a speech police input, shame on me. I should have defaulted to a belief that you-all already understand the issues with speech terms and just enjoyed the humor.
This short YouTube focussed on Andrew Lawton's comments on free speech themes by way of Mark Steyn makes the case I should have had internalized already as bed-rock (" ... You have to be prepared to defend undesirable speech and you have to be prepared to defend undesirable people" - please note, you are desirable peeps in my book, but the point stands, and I see I was being the undesirable one).
Sorry Bruce, but without a sense of humor you just become ever more morose and filled with despair. A little humor in the face of constant smears from the left doesn't seem to me to be putting the integrity or the moral high ground in jeopardy on the part of the sane, but thanks for your concern.
Dear Castelletto - I am in profound agreement with your expressed sentiment (I was emotionally a bit pushed, based on an organ harvest article I had just read https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=sqSA-SY5Hro ). My concern is attached to our ignorance around genetic knowledge, and it's uses. I appreciate your comment, and agree, laughter is good medicine - I'll get off the scold soap box!
You can't make this up. These people are tone-deaf. Is this their Orwellian 'hate' and they can't help themselves? Turley and all the others are committed to the established government and will not envisage its loss of legitimacy. The public has no such commitment and after the murderous Covid and Biden corruption their support for the government is on life support. All future elections may be rigged, but to gain public trust may be impossible.
Who is a good question, perle. Who will do any of this? Ahhh, TBTB have this figured out, robots will. Which will be the temporary slav(e) of the transhumanists, at least until robots have full human rights. Then it's truly over.
There was a book was called, "The History of Knowledge" by Charles Van Doran. and in the last chapter and final section of the chapter the author postulated the final frontier of human rights would be the activist fight for robots. That always made me think of the 1982 movie "The Blade Runner" and those runaway repiicants (robots or humanoids) who were fighting to remain viable as their programs were nearing EOL. Human rights for robots can you hear the crazies chanting, "what do want? Software upgrade! When do we want it? Now!
Today's FBI, demonstrating once again that they incompetent jackholes. Any county sheriff could've managed this better. Are there any odds for another Waco-type botch in the near future?
Message to MAGA delivered, at the point of a gun. This what secret police operations are assigned to do. This was not incompetence, Dan they knew what they were going to do and why.
What the FBI Isn't Saying About Its Shooting of a Utah Trump Supporter Should Concern Everyone

Good move. He should get the cell next to Jared Kushner.

Since AG Garland doesn’t appear to want to do his job, I’ve today sent evidence for a criminal referral for Anthony Fauci to the US Attorney in DC. https://dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12386731/Dr-Fauci-referred-prosecutor-CRIMINAL-charges-Republican-Rand-Paul-lying-oath-COVID-came-lab.html…

Special counsel appointed on Hunter Biden issues, the evah-soo-effactiff David Weiss, he of the original sham plea bargain set-up.
Rep Comer is not happy, as this enables all the alphabet orgs to ignore Congressional subpoenas based on the problem of "on going investigations".

Correct. And we have Bluto and Turtle to thank for this--they're the frontmen, in any event.
And we have Nancy Pelosi...and Bluto and Turtle...to thank for this:

No doubt at all. I weep for our country.

She has a very long track record.

Maybe Judge Beryl Howell and Admiral Rachel Levine are actually sisters?
Sistas, you mean!
Julie Kelly also offers up a good summary:

What's left for the enemy to do before the actual trials?
More indictments? Bleh.
Ankle bracelet? Perhaps.
Pre-trial confinement? Hmmm.
What else is there?
Death row and execution on pay per view. Morbid yes, but not implausible in the hyper-zealotry of the death cult that is the DNC.
Spot on! We need a way to quickly address rogue political judges. They receive way too much deference.
DC juries should not be used to try political cases. Political defendants should be granted a change in venue whenever requested.
Any hint of political bias on the part of a judge should mandate automatic recusal.
. . . Look how General Flynn was treated by his so called Judge.
End qualified immunity, that would be a strong (frought with its own difficulties) start. Some form of redress & accountability out of prosecutorial/judicial abuse needs to be available
Who is going to enforce the rules?
Perhaps we need something analogous to “Internal Affairs” for trial judges; and they could audit the case record and evaluate claims made by the defendant and his attorneys. The left would capture that like they have every other government agency/NGO. The only answer is 1776 2.0
What is it with ugliness and leftists? Is it in their contract? This one looks like Klaus Schwab in drag.

My guess is Turley is afraid of being doxed if he pulls the trigger.
This exactly why intimidation and fear are used, it works!
I wonder if this was intimidation, or just controlling the news cycle.
