Tucker Carlson depicts Richard Nixon as a wronged man, deposed in a CIA coup (Watergate) for threatening to expose the CIA’s role in the JFK assassination. Actually, by suggesting that Watergate could open up the JFK case (an apparent reference to E. Howard Hunt’s involvement in both), Nixon got Richard Helms to stop an FBI investigation of Watergate funds in Mexico City. (Hunt had helped both of them plan the Bay of Pigs invasion, hence their code for the JFK murder.)

So Nixon and Helms knew “who shot John”. Did they know of the plot beforehand (Nixon through his Mafia ties)? As for Watergate, I think it was more CIA CYA than CIA coup. The more likely CIA/FBI role was in pushing Gerald Ford and Nelson Rockefeller to power. Both helped cover up the JFK murder, Ford as an FBI informant on the Warren Commission, Rockefeller as vice-president in 1974.

Another symptom of the loss of credibility of our elites.

It’s amazing how many conspiracy theories have been proven true…

Hey again Rascal Nick! Too much head trauma as a child I guess-memory is barely able to spell memory... Ben Stein has spoken regarding financial issues for years. Known for his humor, he certainly is no dummy on money. My dentist of many years who had his practice in Auburn, WA (South of Seattle for others unfamiliar) was from Sandpoint. I love that part of the land, with the exception of winter. Too many miles on snow and Ice, I guess it's a natural avoidance. Saying that, we get 27" of snow a year here in the Weiser area - generally spread out tho'. Wishing the very best for you and your gang! (WRH)

With these latest revelations, I feel I oscillate between my whole life has been a lie, believing the idea of America, and the realization that everything suddenly fits and starts to make sense. America is a banana republic. I beginning to think that it is time to move to some place where I will have no illusions, but life might be just fine. Mexico for instance. It will certainly help with the coming global cooling.

I thought it was global warming?

Or was it climate change?

I guess I’m out of date on the approved narrative updates.

Thanks for the like. The media narrative is Global warming, which is a lie, the earth has been cooling since 2016. Moreover, it is likely we are heading into a period of diminished sun spot activity, so it is going get really cold. If you want learn more about what is actually happening, I commend this site to you:

Mind the cartels.

I've spent a lot of time in Mexico already, living like a middle class Mexican, renting AirBnBs, driving around, shopping in local stores. My sense of being some places that are alleged to be controlled by cartels, like Acapulco, is that if you are not looking for drugs, and you are generally in bed by midnight, nothing bad will happen to you. My sense is that a lot of trouble befalls Americans looking to cut out the middlemen in the drug trade.

Sad to say, but we actually lost America November 22nd, 1963.

Dave, are you saying you believe we were caught totally unawares by a sneak attack at Pearl Harbor? Or that Hoover was never in bed with anyone in the Mob? Or that the USA never had a program of rescuing Nazi scientists and making them US scientists? The conspiracy to kill JFK was made possible by the corruption that's existed at the highest levels of government since before WW2. But the fact that so many looney toons still believe the Warren Commission is testimony to the fact that we could have known the truth. We just didn't want to, because it was too terrible to comprehend.

Thank you Mark for continuing the information flow during the busy times in which you're embroiled.

As you )Mark) depict, the removal of a President (even as inept and corrupt as Biden) would require cooperation of Repubs as well as the interagency cabal. It seems to me our '4th gov't branch' must be hugely, deeply involved. Totalitarian despots require control of public information, which it appears our mainstream media significantly provide. I think for President Nixon the media was less capable but still heavily invested in democrat priorities. *An Aside: Can it be, the internet and (previous, that is prior to the net-neutrality gig) openness for information access may have, at least slowed the cabal's plans?*

I respectfully have disagreed with you regarding the goal of of ongoing 'Vette-Gate' and related is intended in Bidens' removal. I remain convinced Cackles (I am so disrespectfull of our Border Csar, but not sorry) is way to risky, much worse than simply a Loose Cannon but a dangerously stupid whack job that might just rebel and try to play "The Real President", i.e. escape control. The outcome sought, I think, is a reigning-in of Biden. A huge problem for the cabal is his 2024 re-election thing. How can they deal with Kamela if ol' Joe runs - he brought her along -perhaps as insurance or the "At least I'm better than she" excuse; it'd be likely impossible to rid His cadency of her perpetuating their ongoing dilemma.

I am not as insider-understanding or informed as this blog's host and author. It truly is hard to disagree with Mark and frankly, I may be thinking while being hopeful in this crazy situation. I mentioned in another post that It's really hard to predict the outcome when the conflict isn't defined. I 'feel' that is the state of the Biden situation today.

I want to note also 2 signs of 'outs' having foundations being laid. One report has Biden announcing he will discuss his 2024 run prospect after the State of the Union address. The other was a report of a poll (are your ears perked up?) that Americans know the Vette-Gate files happened, but don't see any criminality there. Polls that supposedly depict public sentiment (such as this) strangely appear. I know, some media seems to be riled up about Vette-Gate, but where's the staged pics of all those classified docs and the stories of Nuclear codes and info for sale to the Ruskies? But here's a poll that we Americans don't care about this confidential file stuff, of ol' Joes... Media attempting to shape opinion rather than reporting it? (Not even a little surprising).

Thanks again for this format to vent, pose ideas and simply to put into words my thoughts and reactions. To all of Mark's readers, I wish you all a Blessed day! (Weiser-Wayne) Yeah, I know, but I'm trying...

In this scenario, Biden finishes his term but under a cloud that prevents re-election talk, in order to make the 2024 s_election easier for the deep state.

@Forbes

Good question, and I second the motion.

FWIW, the new supposition/fact (that I think) I heard on the Tucker video, which I have never previously heard, is that the Watergate burglars were all (or 3 of 4) CIA...implying that Watergate was a CIA set up to get Nixon. In other words, Nixon (and his campaign officials) didn't concoct the Watergate breakin in a search for dirt to embarass Nixon's opponent, rather, the CIA (or whoever) concocted the breakin to entrap and destroy Nixon. Would the CIA ever do this to an unliked politician?

Well, if this is true at least Nixon didn't pay for his forced removal from office with his life, as did JFK.

Conspiracy theories are interesting, aren't they?

CTD; I, too was perplexed when Clinton(s) were hailed as heroes having been, at least, minimally connected not only to criminal influence peddling, but many folks died suspiciously (and more). Today I recognize that our media has way too much control of information and public opinion formation. They've been doing that a long time, coincident to our country's loss of it's Constitutionality. Loss is what I now recognize - not losing. Anyways, thanks for highlighting the valiant sacrifice President Nixon executed: he believed our country more important than the political dilemma being wrung out in public. Today, of course it's all/only political. As it needs to be in a tyranny. Blessing CTD! (WRH)

Interesting link/interview, thanks RN. I entered our Military, during Nixon's time in 1972. Felt proud to be in service under him as CIC. Was less inclined for respect of Mr. Carter, altho' I respected the Presidency as CIC. I left all military service in 1979, glad to go but was sad I left when President Reagan won office. Life has gone on and 40+ years later I find my respect for and in President Nixon wasn't ill founded. I'll simply note, our country's down-hill slide was gaining momentum from the 60's [LBJ particularly]. President Reagan was terrific but the Cabal had found much power and wasn't gonna let a Hollywood Actor get their program stopped. Take care Sir! (WRH)

Rascal Nick, you are welcome but it was a privilege and honor that I was able to serve. This country has given me, my family (and all citizens) the real opportunity to seek Health, Happiness and Liberty. I have been blessed beyond any return value my service could earn. BTW, that blessing continues today, although I am fortunate to live in Idaho where it's still okay to live in Faith. I count that freedom as among the highest values our Constitutional Gov't affords, even as that privilege is being eroded. We have it very, very good still. Shoot, I've been able to write 'for all the world to see' (altho I dunno why they would) not being hindered or restricted. Yeah, Twitter files aside, it takes a bit of effort, but finding Mark's blog here was pretty easy and, so far, no 3-letter agencies have dropped by... Take care Sir, (WRH) Oh! I almost forgot to mention that I am a fan of Ben Stein. (understatement!) I was unaware of his intelligent choice of chosen state to live in... (Altho', my fuzzy memory thinks you live in SE Idaho... quite a cool coincidence to have run into him up north!)
