Clint is wrong about no amount of sanctions changing Russians' support for Putin: sanctions will actually INCREASE support for Putin. As a vet and old Cold War Warrior, if you told me back in '80 that in 2022 I'd be supporting Russia against the West, I'd have punched you out!

It really is fascinating to see the whole Scamdemic Playbook being run all over again. (And the Scamdemic was just the old Russia Hoax/ War on Terror playbooks updated). We are getting bombarded w nauseating propaganda to brainwash a segment of the population into bloodlust and support for more federal authoritarianism. I sure hope it fails this time. I can't go through another 2020-21.

Nazis and Communists are not that far apart, they were allied at one time and they make an easy scapegoat.

“ You never let a serious crisis go to waste. And what I mean by that it's an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before.”

Ukraine War Crisis opportunities:

Biden Junta - we can implement the Green New Deal using Ukraine as the excuse to move us off Fossil Fuels. We can keep Russia going as an economic scapegoat through the midterms by feeding weapons to the Ukraine. And lots of the war aid will get”lost” and fed back through K Street to support The uniparty. And we can increase our financial controls worldwide, using Russian Sanctions as an excuse. What could go wrong! The media and Internet giants are on our side! The even censored that annoying Tulsi Gabbard.

Russia - we can hurt the US Dollar as the reserve currency, and the US economy, and the impotence of the US. And realign the world’s economy that has gotten too much US financial control. And pick up done more Russian speakers to increase our population. And it helps reduce Western influence in our economy.

China - Ukraine hurts and drains the US, decreases US influence, deflects the US from focusing on China’s malfeasance, and increases Influence with Russia.

Ukraine Government - guarantees accession to NATO, EU since we are the victim of the Russian bully, Russia will be broken due to sanctions and bled in the battlefield, Billions more funding from the West happening with huge opportunity for graft and increasing our political influence in DC.

Ray, i would draw a distinction between the cynical manufactured crises that the DC gangsters perpetually use to advance their criminal plots and what has been typically recognized as geopolitics. Russia and China of course mean to take advantage of the Sock Puppet and his Hand-- that's what any great power does for its national interests. The DC Regime is the arsonist trying to make the fire pay for his new job as Lord Fire Protector of the World, national interests be damned. Zelensky is clearly on Team Sock Puppet and no doubt putting all his chips on the promises made to him for years.

Oh, to have a President of the caliber of Vladimir Putin in these United States, a real man. Instead we have a fraud, an empty suit in the White House, Josef Stolen.

Josef Stolen. Now that's damn good.

Fascinating interview with Putin. I was struck by the lost opportunity during Trump's term to work with Russia. The Russia hoax poison pill left by Obama and Hillary made that impossible.

Yes, and the whole Mueller probe was a smoke screen to cover up for Hillary - her illegal email shenanigans and, much worse, the Real collusion, between her campaign and…Ukrainian hucksters…Nuland, Chalupa, et al, must have a lot of frequent flyer miles on them DC-Kyev…

The video with Putin is indeed fascinating and should be watched in its entirety.

One never knows to what extent such media releases are propagandist. That said I have the sense that Putin is being honest (if not comprehensive) in all that he says. This is clearly a very intelligent man who is well acquainted with challenges and is unafraid of them. He has a well defined sense of responsibility with regard to his duties to his country. He also has a keen understanding of the U.S. and its politics.

This is not someone to be trifled with and he will not allow himself to be painted into a corner. He will suffer fools (politicians) to a point - but not when they threaten the future existence of his country. He is willing to be reasonable but at the same time he will go to whatever extent he is pushed by the west as regards the preservation of his country. Given the irrational and erratic nature of our "leadership," that is quite unsettling to contemplate.

Thanks, Mark, for posting this.

The interview with President Putin was enlightening. Thank you. Everything I have ever been taught about Russia and President Putin was not what i saw in that video. Finding this Substack and all the subsequent links and information I have been able to read have been fascinating and mind broadening. I found this substack via Dr Malone or Eugypis when I started doing my own research to understand what was happening in Eastern Europe. I appreciate the civil and learned discourse that takes place here.

"...the civil and learned discourse that takes place here."

Precisely. This place is a gem, led by its author, of course, and right on down from there.

That's exactly the contrast I was hinting at.
