We are reaping the fruits of Obamacare, Medicare, Medicaid, payers all want the "insured" patients dead . . . quickly, but not until the maximum dollars have been distributed to the real intended beneficiaries: pharma, hospitals, the insurance racketeers and so on.

At this point, it might be worth remembering that the environmentalists (primarily leftists) have been screaming about overpopulation for 50 years--and most of our Elites have gone along with it. There is also the looming insolvency of Social Security and Medicare. So a virus crops up that is most deadly to the elderly? Should governors force nursing homes to take Covid patients? Of course! Avoid seeking effective early treatments? Use hospital procedures that do not help? Why not?

It is also a basic truth that of all the earth's religions, only two put a value on human life--Judaism and Christianity. And even with them, only those on the conservative end of each group can be counted on. In too many denominations, even the upper leadership cannot be counted on to value life. Why else the waffling among the Catholic hierarchy over whether to block pro-abort politicians like Biden and Pelosi from Communion? If the RC bishops and popes had any spines, they would have been excommunicated years ago.

And the real "religion" of too many of our Elites--academic and political-- is Marxism. If you look at the death toll over the years in National Socialist Germany, the Soviet Union, Red China, Cambodia, and more...they put no value on human life either.

God help us but why should He? We’ve been disrespecting Him & indulging in rampant sin/hedonism for over 50yrs now.

IMHO this will only be sorted out by either a) a massive, grassroots return to our Christian roots which causes people to vote for strong Christian candidates who eschew the typical limp-wristed Republicans (doubtful) or b) Christ’s Return.

If you have another opinion I’d love to hear it.

There is only one reason why God would help us: Christ. Our redemption is only through the faith God has given us in Christ as our savior and through our repentance of our sins, which are also made known to us only through Him. If we know Him and know what He has done for us, we should live in a way that accrues his blessings to us both in this world and the next.
