On Ritter: First I've heard that the HW assassination attempt was a false flag. Lots of mischief flowing from that one. (50:00 mark)

Do Republicans, now spoiling for a fight with Putin, wonder what election chicanery Democrats have in store for November? Democrats got away with thievery in 2020. Why aren’t they emboldened to try again? What’s the GOP’s plan to prevent election theft this time?

That's funny, Mark. Last i checked the official line of RINOs in Congress and at the RNC is there was NO thievery or anything more than "shenanigans ". The dems and pukes work together in these things and where they can't agree there's a sly, criminal understanding that anyone who gets to DC will get the talk and toe the line.

Several things have to be understood in our present hubris. Our government is being run by career politicians, and as such everything they do is based on the proper political solution. That doesn't always work out well in reality, as the accent is on controlling the narrative. Many of the old stock market adages do not seem to be relevant, but that the market works on fear and greed must be kept in mind. At the present time there is a fear of missing out on the profits that can be garnered in the final stages of a bull market, but when the collapse begins in earnest there will be only fear. Plunge protection is evident, especially towards the end of a trading day, but there is a limit to the control that can be exercised. That goes for everything. Think 1929. Things are so much more fragile nowadays, with public and private debt at record levels. Still, those running the show are geniuses and think themselves in total control. We are on the unsinkable Titanic, and we cannot let a few icebergs deter us from proceeding full speed ahead.

It's pretty clear that the DC Cartel is just that--- a cartel of separate criminal enterprises who cooperate generally to advance their interests wherever possible. But, as we see here w the Pentagon leaks (and the friendly fire over the Afghanistan debacle), when one Cartel member feels sufficiently threatened or believes another member is going off the rails, they can and will act to undermine each other. This is possibly behind the NYT admission on the laptop from hell and other admissions about the bioweapon originating in Wuhan lab. We also see evidence of dissension in the Cartel between the Federal Reserve and the Uniparty and the Obama SPOTUS cartel members. This is Luongo's thinking viz the Fed.

I imagine all these different Cartel members secretly biding their time and planning for the collapse and chaos they all know is coming. I suspect each one secretly believes that they will be able to take control when the SHTF, ousting the others. The internecine fighting amongst them may be our best hope of restoring a republic.

Thanks Mark - This feels right:

"These 3 Charts Strongly Suggest the U.S. Stock Market Has an Invisible Hand Propping It Up"

and it explains why the economy / stock market has not been acting like I thought it would. The stock market is a VERY HUGE Concerns of the Democratic College Educated Supporters, basically the laptop class. And they need to be protected. As well as Wall Street, that is a huge source of funding for the Left.

What is happening, is huge cracks in the financial system are opening up that threaten to topple the entire global finance / trading system and have a huge negative economic impact. One day nickel, another day nickel. So Central Bankers and their Wall Street / Financial Buddies are going around trying to put a band aid on the crack and try to stop it from spreading. And every crack is weakening the system. By doing actions, such as requiring payment in Rubles for oil and gas, which is very reasonable from a PR prospective, Putin is trying to avoid the blame for the economic debacle the West has created with the sanctions. Putin is fighting on the economic warfare front, to increase economic pressure on the West through upset citizens. What happens when Europe starts to ration natural gas? Seems like that is very close to happening.

When I read Mark’s post, I remembered reading a headline someplace, and then looked for some legit article, and found the paywall article. This is a non paywall version.

I can’t remember where I saw the original mention.

The irony here couldn't be more jarring. 33 years after the Soviet Union collapsed under the financial pressures of the arms race w the US, Russia is now looking to ruin the US with similar financial strains.

VDH--I'd like to believe it:

In the November 2022 midterms, we are likely to see a historic “No!” to the orthodox left-wing agenda that has resulted in unsustainable inflation, unaffordable energy, war, and humiliation abroad, spiraling crime, racial hostility—and arrogant defiance from those who deliberately enacted these disastrous policies.

...

The public will continue to tune out of the partisan and mediocre “mainstream” media. We will see greater increased production of oil and natural gas to transition us slowly to a wider variety of energy, strong national defense, and deterrent foreign policies.

The prophets of the new world order sowed the wind and they will soon reap the whirlwind of an angry public worn out by elite incompetence, arrogance, and ignorance.

VDH is like Pat Buchanan. He has his days but he is stuck in the 1980s. He thinks Putin is Brezhnev and that the GOP is Reagan's party. The idea that the current GOP will do anything to reverse this is ridiculous. The only hope is a completely overhauled GOP rid of all the traitors like Romney, McConnell, Crenshaw and Graham. Otherwise, nothing will change.

Yes.

Hahahaha.. you have to respect VDH as a historian, particularly of ancient Greek history. Unfortunately that perspicacity doesn't yet translate to modern US politics. His articles are consistently 3+ yrs behind the times. He doesn't seem able or willing to absorb the lessons of what happened to Trump, the 2020 Steal, and the Scamdemic. As a result, he predicts elections and policies and electorates that don't exist any longer.

Expand full comment

He lives in the era when a Dem Speaker of the House (O Neil) could have a laugh and a dram with a Republican president (Reagan). Can you imagine that today with Pelosi and AOC in the saddle?

Expand full comment

Well the reality is that these ^#%@%@ DO have a laugh and a dram when none of us yokels are looking. That's part of the problem. They posture as bitter enemies while making deals under the table and slapping each other on the back privately. The parties long ago figured out that they could amass fortunes for themselves by playing this 'two party theater.'

I hope this is true, but I am worried that those that count the vote won't allow that.

The allegations about digital manipulation of the voting totals in Colorado are very disheartening. I wonder how many other areas of the US were also manipulated? My gut feeling is a LOT.

Voter fraud is a real fear and I don't see any GOP member fighting against this.

Expand full comment

My rule of thumb: if you see a red state going purple then blue, that is prima facie case of electoral fraud. They perfected the methods in California and have been exporting them ever since.

Expand full comment

I watched it happen in Virginia, but we took the Commonwealth back last November. Perhaps the biggest lessons are "be vigilant & stay involved!"

Expand full comment

Fellow Virginian. I'm not so sure. Still trying to figure that one out. My best SWAG is that the Gangsters did not have their electoral fraud mechanisms fully in place as in other so called blue states. Maybe that's the true distinction between a blue and purple state. We in Virginia are still purple which only means that the gangsters are still tying up the loose ends and haven't finished the theft mechanisms. So when McAuliffe pissed off all those suburban women w the public school remarks it was too much for the fraud machine to overcome. (Although you will recall that they tried to pull the same $^#^@ in Fairfax county and Alexandria w late night recounts and did manage to overturn what looked like a Republican majority in the senate). I don't discount either that voter groups did a good job of poll watching which defeated some of the fraud. Nonetheless the California fraud process will continue trying to turn VA blue and it won't have anything to do with demographics or voter registration or poll watching. The scheme seems to rely on overwhelming conservative voters by hyperinflating the voters in urban areas where no one will question 90% Democrat results and all offices are held by corrupt officials who won't allow challenges.

The only hope i see in Va is to get rid of all electronic voting and go to same day counting and limit absentee voting. Not likely w Democrat senate. And i dont trust Youngkin either but....

Expand full comment

Yeah, my gut turned somersaults when Youngkin rushed out his tweet abt standing w/Ukraine in Feb. before most federal officials/my congressman. Like, dude, what the hell does Ukraine have to do w/running VA!? Why say anything? VDH is also still full in on the testing & tracing nonsense, vax passports. But, for any faults, he & his admin are still not full on McArpetbagger, or Gov Shoepolish afore him.

When are the next Senate elections? My redistricted Senate district has gone back to a much less localized & likely far more Dem one. Not happy abt that.

😂

I cd make a long list of items that were an epic fail for gubernatorial candidate McArpetbagger & the Dems, but if everyone who saw & knew things weren't right stayed home waiting for someone else to do something, Clinton's McArpetbagger wd be our governor today.

We've far from fixed everything that lead to Biden's supposedly overwhelming 'win' in 2021, but we got enough done so they couldn't 'win' that way this year.

I dislike RINOs too. At my last GOP mtg of our county unit, we voted out an otherwise nice guy who may or not be a RINO, but had been a very lazy & sluggish chairman. Our new chairman is dynamite! Likewise, the statewide battles btw the old guard RINOs & young guns have been epic. Things aren't perfect yet, but they have changed for the better. I suspect one battle on the horizon will be the selection of candidates - via mass meeting of Rep delegates vs primary. Voters do not declare party on their registration in VA, so I've seen that trick.

Expand full comment

And this may be where state elections still have some legitimacy vs federal elections, at least in purple and red states.
