Thanks for the situation map. When you started this blog months ago, were you aware that it would become one of the few sources of reliable news available?

Let me start with a disclaimer. I have no expertise in these matters and rely on this blog , its comments and similar sites. I do have some experience in screenwriting, and you may take what follows in that light.

In the Ukraine I see Putin, after taking Odessa and rendering the Ukraine landlocked, getting 'bogged down' and suing for a ceasefire, which he will unilaterally observe. Any attacks by Ukrainian forces will be repelled with total destruction. The world will felicitate themselves on saving Kiev and stopping the Russian Bear from world domination. America will of course assume responsibility for the welfare of Kiev and other parts of the Ukraine. Sanctions will be removed as they will be hurting us more than the Russians.

As for us, Trump will follow the advice of Napoleon and allow the enemy to destroy themselves. After much suffering the American people will come to their senses and elect a Trumpster Congress in November, before the Country falls completely apart. At that point one of two things will happen. The more level-headed members of the opposition, threatened with exposure or worse, will come to their senses and craft a solution making Trump President for the less than two years remaining in Biden's term, and allowing him to run for an additional four years. The history books will be sanitized and future generations will know nothing of a 'fortified' election. The other possibility is Durham will slow-walk his investigation, Trump will reveal all the evidence he has, and the chips will fall where they will. Interesting times.

I disagree with CTH. He's gotten very, very pessimistic of late and this clouds his judgment. Sure, we are heading for a train crash of epic proportions but to say the US is some kind of Svengali, bending everyone to its tune is nonsense. Sure, America may want a totally dependent Europe and a neutered Russia but that is not what they are going to get. Russia has said enough and is standing up to the globalists. They had nothing to lose and will get stronger. The EU is finished anyway, whatever America does. And most of all, America soon won't be in a position to change its own diapers let alone control anyone else.

I was probably too pessimistic, too. There are blocks to the Globalists and openings for us. China is a big block, Covid could be an opening going forward. Fog of war everywhere. I agree US is no Svengali.

Exporting increased amounts of LNG from the US to Europe will lead to MUCH higher prices here. I say let 'em freeze in the dark, the stupid greenies of the EU are a menace.

At a time like this, it's good to take in a little Catherine Austin Fitts ( with a side of Michael Yeadon): https://twitter.com/_taylorhudak/status/1500244379503673344?t=CO2Vl76maAOLpwl5olbIWw&s=19

Spot on. We have to create alternatives to the CBDC and whatever financial bondage they inflict upon us. Pay in cash and barter.

How long to Russia rolls out their version of Union Pay?

Or perhaps Russia converts to Union Pay?

Union Pay is a China based credit card that is bigger than Visa and Mastercard.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/UnionPay

This is a VERY short sighted action by Visa and Mastercard.

What a great excuse for Russia to reduce Western financial influence.

And how many other countries are going to make sure there are alternatives to Visa and Mastercard?

Same with alternatives to PayPal.

That's why I disagree with CTH. All the West is doing is forcing Russia to use CIPS instead of SWIFT. It's like kicking Rogan off Twitter. It just pushes him and millions of others to an alternative, which grows stronger as a result.

Thinking about this post, it may be an oversimplification. The US has vulnerabilities, such as dependence on China, etc. It's easy to get discouraged these days.

The game, it seems, to focus on is US internal politics ( internal in the sense merely that the old nation state model still exerts any influence on things) . The balance tipper in thwarting Klaus' central banking wetdream, would appear to be a US popular revolt. The globalist cabal is working overtime and showing their hand all over the place it seems to me in order to keep a lid on US populism. With that, I have to say, I'm starting to lose the thread of Trump.dont see why he doesn't just come out against WEF /globalists and adopt the Fitts line.
