Great, great video discussion on Danny Davis’ show. All three are scathing of the Secret Service failures, but most remarkably are somewhat open to more being behind this.
Trump Assassination Attempt Analysis: w/Tony Shaffer & Matt Hoh
Especially toward the beginning. Tony Shaffer offers his view on the “larger” context, which includes Ukraine. You read that right. Here’s my edited—for readability—transcript:
The larger context here matters. I wanted to talk to you Danny, before this happened, about your brilliant analysis of Joe Biden's speech and activities at the NATO Summit. I was blown away by the way you laid it out for your audience. My point is that the NATO stuff mattered to what happened. They don't want Trump back. The fact is the Biden administrations turned Ukraine into a cash cow for both their causes domestically and the progressive left or the globalist internationally. This is a business and that business, my friend, has to do with the politicians currently in power not wanting to give it up. That's why the assassination attempt in Europe [Fico in Slovakia] arguably--I'm not saying that the US government had a role, but one of the facts I'm going to mention here is, three minutes in combat is a long time. When you have a weapon being presented clearly in view of a target 150 meters away, three minutes is a long time. And so we have to establish why it took Secret Service--literally having a bead on a guy with an AR in his hand and not taking the shot rapidly. ... This kid was allowed to get very close--150 meters! Come on guys! We could hit with iron sights something at 150 meters based on our basic training, so this is not rocket science.
Regarding the actual event, they are totally scathing regarding the failure to have any personnel on the roof that the shooter was on. They also show video of civilians warning LE about the shooter and time it out to the actual shots fired—over a minute and a half. They go over the multiple failures to secure the perimeter. Excellent.
Now here’s something that I’ve discussed that they failed to pick up. They discuss that there should have been communication between the snipers and the command. They note that snipers operate as a team—a shooter and an observer—but they express confusion as to whether any of that was going on.
However, they put up a close-up, in focus, photo of the two snipers on the roof. The setup is clearly just as described. The guy with the tripod, sighting the rifle, is the shooter. The guy who’s prone, more or less, is clearly the observer—he has a headset and a mouth mic. Obviously his job was to stay in contact with command about anything going on. Which raises questions about what was going on, what was the nature of the communications over the minutes from when the shooter was first sighted to when the shooting started.
Shaffer also notes that we only see the snipers scanning in one direction with their binocs—toward the building that the sniper ultimately used.
Later in the video Shaffer, after calling the totally non-professional conduct of the SS on the stage “Keystone Kops” stuff, he adds:
I’m going to say some things that may be controversial
I don’t think they thought they were ever going to have to take Trump off the stage. You can take that any way you want.
Did the snipers recalibrate and start looking around for other threats, or did they know that that was the only threat?
Matt Hoh, who had security details assigned to him in Iraq and Afghanistan then adds that reaction to these incidents are rehearsed. Trump acted exactly as he was supposed to do—he dropped to the floor. The others looked like they’d never rehearsed for this before. Their reactions looked unprofessional. Shaffer spoke as one who had served on security details and Hoh as the protectee. They were both utterly scathing, including regarding midget females being part of the team.
Interestingly, toward the end of the video, DD says someone with a track record of being right about Republican matters, told him that Nikki would be the Veep. Shaffer calmly dismissed that as simply not gonna happen. Said he knows, but can’t say. Shaffer, who has actually spoken to Trump, says he believes Trump recognizes “the dangers of the Neocons,” but that the Neocons still control a wide swather of the Republican party.
Whatever. It’s JD Vance. I don’t really have strong views. I’d like to have a better feel for how strong a personality he really is, and I haven’t followed him closely.
Davis likes to say that on his show they’re fearless in the search for truth. This was definitely a fearless video.
Judge Nap: Ray is there an attitude or an ideology in any of America's law enforcement or intelligence
communities that would either look the other way or set up the former president of the United States because they fear his second term in office?
Ray McGovern: The answer is very clearly yes. There's plenty of evidence of that and it goes back nine or 10 years. The bottom line is that the FBI has been thoroughly corrupted by people for eight years running. People working pretty much for the Democratic National Committee and Democratic party.
LJ believes this guy was not a lone wolf. He asks, How did he know that there wouldn't be SS on the roof he picked? What about the placement of the ladder?
