"I continue to believe that Zhou’s continued presence in the Oval Office is a benefit to the GOP, with a slow walked impeachment inquiry." McCarthy is clearly a globalist nonenity, but for once, I almost sympathise with him on this one.

Interesting that Kama Sutra has been designated the 2A Czarina. I take that as confirmation that Zhou is still planning on running. 2A is seen by Progs as a "women's issue", so making her Czarina is prep for being to say she did something for purposes of the campaign. At least that's how I read it.

I guess if they can ignore Biden’s obvious mental deficiencies, it won’t be hard for them to pretend that Kama is an intellectual powerhouse fully capable of assuming the duties of the presidency.

I see it as propping her up as she failed with two previous jobs in order to present her as somewhat competent should Zhou leave early.

Appreciate the lighter note. How is it something so nostalgic is at your fingertips?

Leon Redbone reminds me of a cross between Jelly Roll Morton, Frank Zappa, and Peter Sellers. Great song and music. It really sounds as if it's coming, remastered, directly from the 1930s or 40s, doesn't it.

I can't recall how I came across that one today, but I do enjoy old swing, early jazz, western swing music--among other types. I've certainly listened to Leon Redbone before.

Sure everyone has seen the reports about Ukraine taking out the Russian’s Black Sea naval control center and possibly killing several high level command personnel. Seems pretty provocative to me and seems unlikely that the Ukrainians pulled this off on their own.

But then I guess a couple of guys in a rowboat did in Nordstream, so could be possible. As Emeril would say, “Hey! Let’s kick it up a notch!”

About a hit on the building of Staff of Black Sea Fleet. Immediately for people who may have questions: NOBODY IS in this building except for maintenance and guard crew. During war time all C4 departments of the Staff operate out of ZKP (Запасной Командный Пункт--ЗКП)--a Reserve Command Post, which is underground and is very difficult to identify and attack. So, the attack is primarily for PR reasons, ...

Per US P-8 Poseidon in the vicinity in the international air space--this is US MO--fight through proxy, hide behind them. ... Expect some response from Russia, Misters Kalibr, Iskander and Geran will be very busy in the next few days.

More blue smoke and mirrors.

Thx for the clarification Mark, the report read like it was a major hit.

Good ole Fox News played it up that way.

They can’t hold onto the village idiot much longer, because every day brings a new and more obvious display of Biden’s nonexistent grasp on reality and his mental faculties. Latest one has him repeating the same story almost word for word nearly back to back during the same speech. Gonna be impossible for the clowns in the press to continue to blow it off with the same old BS, “Oh that’s just Joe being Joe.” But they’ve managed to avoid reality since he took office, so what do I know.

The Lula thing has to be the greatest show of all

Joe, how can anyone look at that disaster and not realize that the guy needs to be in a home and not in the Oval Office?

Beats me. How could anyone not have seen that from the day he first was nominated? It’s been elder abuse.

It feels, has felt, that they are rubbing our noses in the Trump mess we made, to teach us not to do it again. I'd prefer clicker training for treats, tho.

Yet the headlines from the past two days are that democrats won two special elections. One in New Hampshire and another in Pennsylvania. You have to wonder what those voters are drinking given the state of inflation, gas prices careening higher, and an invasion by illegals that is rapidly affecting every county in the country.

It must be some of that new hi- octane kool aide, because they are clearly voting against their own best interests. Makes absolutely no sense to me at all.

What’s new about that?

If that's how the people actually voted. Who knows, these days?

I’m sure the Dems would like another ‘Obama’ to reignite their followers but a lot of people know that even Obama wasn’t really what he purported to be, and they’re a party full of mostly old, very corrupt, not very likeable people now. They are stuck with Kamala as President, at least for awhile, but the really interesting thing will be to see who the GOP agrees to appoint as VP. We should start thinking about the GOP’s moves here. Because the Dems are going to have to promise things to GOP or individual Republicans like McCarthy and others to get their VP choice up. Will the GOP stonewall? Give no indication of who they’ll support? But that’s not how the game is played. The Dems must be considering and/or offering VP candidates to them - or they soon will be. And will the GOP only allow the Dems to appoint someone terrible as VP (to help the GOP) and risk the blowback from the public? Or will they go for some ostensibly neutral candidate? The Dems have the problem but the GOP holds the keys to the solution.

I have no doubt a deal can be made which is pleasing to both sides of the Uniparty, and does not involve smoking crack cocaine.

Expand full comment

Yes - I'm sure that's right. As per Tom Luongo's analysis - there are no white knights - we can only hope that whatever deal is made by the Uniparty benefits the interests which most closely align with freedom-loving people - which Luongo thinks is the New York commercial banks. He says NY banks are all Dems and big donors to the party and they don't want globalism (at least not unless the US is in charge of it) and they don't want Communism. They want whatever makes the US, and them, powerful and rich.
