Earlier this evening I was reading el gato malo’s substack:
alberta gets caught palming cards on covid vaccine efficacy
and we get real quantification on the size of the definitional datacrime. it shocked even me.
It was very good—stunning, really. But you know how these things go. Substack can be like Wikipedia—one thing leads to another, and this thing led me to
why are northern european (except for sweden) all cause deaths up in 2021 vs 2020?
covid deaths are way down, but overall deaths are up considerably. this is a puzzle that warrants attention.
This one was good, too. Dr. Mike Yeadon was commenting on this substack, as he does at times. One of the commenters asked him why he didn’t start his own substack, and he responded:
I don’t. To be honest, I’m very tired after almost 20 months of this.
I’m doing more interviews again including a long session with Reiner Fuellmich’s Corona Committee today.
I just don’t want to write articles.
There’s nothing more to say: this has been the biggest crime in history, it’s a global coup d’etat of the liberal democracies.
We’re either going to stand up, cross our arms & say “Were not complying. I’m arresting you for crimes against humanity” or we’re going to be enslaved.
It’s that simple. We need political leaders to join with scientists, medics, lawyers, ethicists plus anyone with a spine.
And then I moved on. But not so very far from Yeadon’s idea of a huge crime, a globalist coup d’etat encompassing all the liberal democracies. I came across this 1 minute segment on CNN featuring Scott Jennings, and it brought me right back to Yeadon:
Here’s the CNN transcript:
COOPER: Scott, I read a piece that you just wrote, essentially saying this is Joe Biden doing what Joe Biden does.
SCOTT JENNINGS, CNN POLITICAL COMMENTATOR: Yes, well, he -- I never imagined how quickly this would all unfold. The person they sold on the campaign, the nice old, you know, moderate grandpa who just wanted to help everybody get along and compromise is not what we got over the last year.
He has no mandate really to do much of anything. It's amazing that he got a couple of things done when the mandate was really pretty clear -- 50/50 Senate, a near 50/50 House and a pretty close presidential election. The mandate was simply replace Donald Trump and don't do anything drastic or stupid.
And everything about this agenda is extremely drastic, and he has been angrier than I think people expected. He's been more divisive. He's been more partisan.
You look at the issues. We built five years of coverage on Trump out of Russia, COVID, and democracy. The President at his press conference invites Russia to invade the Ukraine. We get more deaths under Biden than Trump.
And now, we have the President and Vice President and leading Democrats questioning the legitimacy of the 2022 election? Are we any better off on these three issues that we crucified Trump over? I think he has a lot of political problems and an AP poll came out this morning, only 28 percent of Americans want the sitting President to run for re-election and fewer than half of Democrats. This is a disaster.
Well, yes. But to give credit, Anderson Cooper gets to the heart of it, in his characterization of Jenning’s Op-Ed, that’s actually far more pointed than anything Jennings said in his article: “this is Joe Biden doing what Joe Biden does.”
So, what does Zhou Baidan do? He screws things up. He’s an incorrigible screwup. Jennings says Zhou’s mandate was “don’t do anything drastic or stupid.” All of these people who gave us Zhou, the DC Establishment, had known Zhou for decades. They knew already that Zhou was and would remain stupid, lazy, dishonest, corrupt, and a nasty piece of work generally. But the Establishment figured that was good enough for America. And if, in their fanatical urge to be rid of the Orange Man, they tried to forget what they knew about Zhou, Barry Obama was there to remind them: “Never underestimate Zhou’s ability to f*ck things up.”
There’s good news and bad news in this. The bad news is that things will certainly get worse in America before they get better. You can take that to the bank. The good news, however, is that Zhou may just have f*cked up the WEF’s global coup attempt.
As Mike Yeadon would say, it’s up to us—the American people.
Do you know how Joe Biden is in this position? He was sort of the default guy and had gotten in that position by being Obama's VP. Do you know how he got to be Obama's VP?
According to the hysterically team blue aligned New Republic magazine, writing in 2008, different factions of the party wanted one of theirs to be the VP and couldn't stand that some other faction might get *their* person to be VP instead. Each faction was afraid of some other faction having a leg up for 2016. So, they chose Biden because everyone regarded him as such a complete ZERO that no one worried about him having a leg up. That's how Biden got to be VP.
Mark's one thing leading to another led me to a few things, also, including this gem of a video clip of Rachel Maddow (twitter.com/IwanRabbinstein/status/1476377635999694853) assuring us in no uncertain terms that the shots would end the virus, full stop. In case everyone here hasn't already seen this (and I apologize if it's already been dealt with here, but it's new to me), here are her supremely confident words:
"Instead of the virus being able to hop from person to person to person, potentially mutating and becoming more virulent or drug-resistant along the way, now we know that the vaccines work well enough that the virus stops with every vaccinated person. A vaccinated person gets exposed to the virus, the virus does not infect them. The virus cannot then use that person to go anywhere else. It cannot use a vaccinated person as a host to go get more people. That means the vaccines will get us to the end of this."
I'll do my best to collect other such examples if I come across them. The value of a full hour or two of a mashup of these former ironclad promises from our global betters that the shot would prevent both infection and spread -especially when preaching to us, as Maddow does, with a tone of "only a knuckle-dragging science denier could possibly not see the obvious truth in this"- would be immeasurable.
