It's very hard to see what on Earth Pfizer was thinking when they set this all in motion. Were they just dreaming of massive profits, believing that the no lawsuits clause would protect them? They unleashed this knowing that 1000 people died in the trials, that 50% of pregnant women had miscarriages, that all the lab animals died, and that the list of side effects filled 9 pages of small print. Yet, they still went ahead. They are going to pay dearly for their arrogance. As for the pols, it's much easier to understand what they wanted. They piggybacked on this to increase their own power. There is a real sense now that we are at a turning point with the Covid story, and it's not looking good for the enemies of humanity.

Finally I see by the comments that some of you are coming round that just any politician will not do in the circumstances we find ourselves in. Yes, Barr is establishment, and so is everyone else involved. Orwell was mistaken in thinking in 1944 that forty years would bring the transformation. It seems to have taken another forty, and the ruling class feels so secure that little Joe is good enough for the role of 'Big Brother.' Only Trump still fights. And Trump is the only one they fear. And hate. Why the raid?

Sorry, but none of the arguments I have heard till now hold water. Apparently they can't keep Trump off the ballot, and the raid has improved his popularity enormously. Any documents he intends using are certainly in multiple copies in multiple locations. There is no way to explain or justify a nine hour raid by anything less than the imminent turnover something vital to a foreign power that had to be prevented at the last minute. Anybody even suggesting that? No, the real reason they did it is because they can. This is their 'hate'. Those in power are in power, and they want us to know it. Barr, Cheney McConnell etc. are all part of the Government. You vote them out and they get another role. Trump is an outsider. We are outsiders. We don't count.

Top comment. I'm getting tired of reading of how the Deep State is on really shaky legal ground over this and that getting some decent judge to point this out to them is going to make them suddenly say, "Okay, okay, you got us! Where do we pick up our orange jumpsuits?" They do not give a damn about the law and, as you rightly say, are doing this because they can. They will fail in their endeavors to stop Trump and Maga, but not because they transgressed the law, but because - again, as you say - everything they do only makes Trump more popular and electable.

Let us hope that while the wheels of Justice are slowly grinding, that the richly deserving duo of Birx and Fauci are snagged and turned into a very fine powder which will preclude them from ever showing their faces in public again! In a host of despicable characters that have risen to the surface over the last couple of years, these two certainly are standouts. Of course, Garland Merrick, Chris Wray and Adam Schiff certainly garner honorable, you’ll excuse the expression, mention.

Thx for the info on the False Claims Act case against Pfizer. The arrogance is definitely next level. It would be nice to see the whole lot of them sued into oblivion, but this isn’t just fraud. They, along with their political mouthpieces, committed crimes against humanity. Those crimes came at an international cost never before seen. They deserve a historical punishment. All of them.

Correct. Hiding the appalling trials data, banning highly effective existing medications and forcing the jabs on kids are crimes against humanity. Talking of punishment, does anyone know what is happening with Reiner Feullmich's Nuremberg 2 thing? It seems to have gone quiet.

Barr is the great protector of the establishment.

His recommendation automatically makes DeSantis suspect in my book.

Right on DeSantis. I share your reservations. Where Trump always went 'all in' on issues critical to Americans, DeSantis just nibbles around the edges & then throws a huge nationwide presser like he really did something. I'm sorry, but putting the brakes on transgender crap in schools up until the generally still pre-pubescent 3rd grade? I don't see much victory in that.

Likewise, his most recently celebrated victory (cough) over election fraud in rural, conservative Lake Cty. His presser was painted as if he was tackling election fraud statewide when in reality, 20 +/- ineligible felons were popped & their voting records will be held beyond the Sept deadline for preserving them. A lot of ppl were lead to believe FL was gonna preserve all the state's voting records past Sept.

Nonetheless, I think DeSantis has done very well by FL & the state wd do well to keep him governor for another term. I just think some have been misleading or mislead abt the size of the pedestal he has earned.

This all pre-supposes another even more basic question: can ANY conservative change DC or is it too far gone? It will take a Putin-esque figure to achieve anything: going in there and ruthlessly kicking out any opposition as Putin did with the oligarchs and Harvard Boys.

DeSantis has actual victories, which is rare for a Republican. I see him as more of a Grant, slow and steady. At least he is addressing Covid BS, which is a weakness of Trumps. I wonder on his economic policies.

Trump I’m amazed he is still surviving, and that he got done as much as he did, with the amount of people of both parties against him, as well as all the dirty tricks played against him.

Trump learns from his mistakes, and I wonder how he has the raid gamed out.

I hope Mark is right on the courts. They have lost do much credibility with me.

Maybe DeSantis should stay put in Florida and keep it going as an exemplar of what an independent conservative state should look like. Assuming it doesn't turn purple or even blue from Californication.

DeSantis seems to be turning Florida Red - from what I can tell from the other side of the US.

He is doing the ground level work that is pushing back the Leftist Efforts.

1. Fighting CRT in schools - most Gop won’t touch this due to fear of being labeled racist.

2. Fighting Sex propaganda in schools for young kids. That provoked Disney into an un winnable fight. Another area most gop won’t touch.

3. Fighting Covid vax mandates and other Covid nonsense.

4. Actually fighting voter fraud, cleaning up elections. This is an area most gop won’t touch.

5. Effectively fighting the msm smear campaign against him. Most gop have Stockholm syndrome with the press.

His last election DeSantis almost lost to a drug user. Now he is cruising to re-election.

I would prefer a Trump DeSantis ticket.
