I wonder if electing republicans will help, since so many these days are RINOS, and I read there’s an association that teaches leftist how to fake and call themselves republicans. 🤭. Deep research of each and every candidate is a must!

Quoting from Sundance "The FIRST STEP in defending against this onslaught is to stop excusing it by saying they don’t know what they are doing, or any version of the incompetency argument. They know exactly what they are doing." You can be totally incompetent and yet know what you are doing. Our Ruling Class is incompetent in everything except the game of politics. As a result they assume everything is within the domain of their expertise, politics. This is what makes our present situation so difficult. Afghanistan was totally under control. We pulled out for no reason. Our economy, our supply chain and our energy supply were functioning. Now we are in crisis, and a Wall Street crash of monumental proportions is probable. I expect our government to chose the very worst solution to all our problems. It may be ideology, but don't discount incompetence. I do, however, trust them to cheat all future elections in a very professional manner.

The military says it "lost" 12,500 marines. That is totally incorrect. They did not lose anyone. They drove those soldiers out. That is totally different than losing them.

The Chinese think in terms of decades, centuries. Patient. I believe Michael Pillsbury knew what he was doing when he wrote

The Hundred-Year Marathon: China's Secret Strategy to Replace America as the Global Superpower.

A self-admitted longtime panda who believed China could become a capitalist country, he woke up when he realized that the CCP is pretty much run by the PLA (People’s Libeeration Army) - that the PLA is responsible for much of what passes for CCP policy (including the One Child Family policy which so damaged China.

The Marathon calls for global domination by 2049. In his book, Pillsbury explains how insidiously the CCP/PLA have been infiltrating and weakening the United States.

Written in 2015, it may be one of today’s most important reads. Our so-called leaders in DC have clearly paid no attention to the information and warning in this book.

Under the category of inflation, look at this. I regularly purchase a 24 pack of soda that earlier this year was $6.98 at my local wallyworld. The price jumped to $7.98 sometime this Summer and I thought, what happened to $7.48 as an interim step? Well, yesterday, the same product is now jumped to $9.78. So $7, to $8, to almost $10 in under 12 months. That certainly isn't 8.6% inflation - not even close. Try 40! Wooo dogie. I'm thinking this is not an anomaly either.

Maybe Xioe wil be giving federal discount cards with each booster...

The Official Inflation is different than the Real Inflation. The way the Official Inflation is calculated has been tweaked a lot to minimize it. Shadowstats.com has an older version, which is a lot higher.

I have to smooth this out some and defend the Marines. First off, the Marines did not surrender, they stopped at 'reset."

I spent five years training Marines at 29 Palms before sending them off to SWA. Its training, not competition. It is perfectly normal for commanders to reset the board and start over. That's because it is training. Lessons are learned, and try again.

This is another hyped up bullshit news report which people tweak to fit their agenda.

I agree that Miley is a piece of crap. And the Marines and military are rapidly declining and will continue to as long as a democrat is president. But the Marines did not surrender to the British commandos.

A podcast I haven’t had time to listen to - but General Chesty Puller, a real Marines’ Marine - looks to be a worthwhile listen. Chesty Puller was a god to my late first husband, a young Marine who had been seriously wounded during the Frozen Chosin withdrawal in late 1950. The Marines never leave anyone behind, so were removing dead and wounded Army personnel along with Marines. And civilians as well. I’ll be listening to this podcast later:

https://theamericanstorypodcast.org/episode/one-more-for-chesty-2/

I can say with some assurance that Chesty would not approve of what is going on now...

Sundance had an ominous post yesterday at CTH, the gist being what if Brandon's controllers don't care about the polls. Here are the paragraphs that caught my eye:

"Joe Biden is a disposable front-man for the people organizing the objective, so they don’t have to worry about political damage. The Biden term was designed for a single set of four-year rapid advancements for the Democrat Socialist agenda. The Biden poll ratings and favorability, or lack therein, do not factor into the plan of action; those issues are irrelevant.

Those behind the executive branch; those controlling Joe Biden; are harnessing and weaponizing power; a power dynamic created by fear and enabled by COVID narratives writ large. Meanwhile, the legislative leftists are attempting to ensure the new systems they create under the guise of COVID-19 are never in a position to be withdrawn.

That’s the bigger picture."

His closing comment is spot-on: “The FIRST STEP in defending against this onslaught is to stop excusing it by saying they don’t know what they are doing, or any version of the incompetency argument. They know exactly what they are doing.”

Until late, I’ve been resisting that conclusion. But, more and more it seems to explain the recent deluge of disastrous policies pursued by the Left. Don’t get me wrong. There’s plenty of incompetence out there — Zhou being exhibit A. But for the real Powers That Be, that’s not a bug, it’s a feature. Millie, Buttigieg, Blinken, Levine, et al. are weaponized mediocrities — Stalin’s “useful idiots” strategy taken literally.

Take the George Soros project to install DA’s guaranteed to unleash unprecedented waves of criminality in their jurisdictions. Of course that’s not a winning electoral platform in the long term. (Duh!) But it works like a charm to destabilize and demoralize society.

Someone else stated "If you were intent on destroying America, what would you do different?". We were way past ineptitude with Afghan. Did anyone see that Xioe video of how to withdraw correctly? "It'll take a year to get the troops out"
