Here’s a quick thought to start the day. Over at the Off-Guardian, Kit Knightly asks a provocative question. It’s a question that falls in line with the Covid Hoax—a virus created and paid for by the US (but, as with so much else, outsourced to China) which seemed to feed almost seamlessly into … The Great Reset! That fizzled, at least for the time being, although Little Tony has come out of hiding to suggest a renewal of the Covid Regime. I suspect a less compliant subject population will be the outcome, but, whatever.
For Ideological Reasons, the Democrats need to continue their Fossil Fuel Jihad.
Even if they are saying otherwise, they are taking steps to increase the cost of extracting fossil fuel in the US. They are just trying to hide it by blaming whomever they can.
eGOP I see as worthless, perhaps enough eGOP types will lose their primaries due to Trump, and win the general it will make some difference in congress. Trump is the Wild Card with the eGOP.
Biden Administration I see as flailing around, desperately trying to do something to change the narrative, without upsetting their LOUD Voices in their party of the Extreme Left, the Techno Aristocracy, and their Wall Street Backers.
Well, as long as I'm quoting some of the good stuff, I may as well pay tribute to this one, also:
"The war is waged by each ruling group against its own subjects, and the object of the war is not to make or prevent conquests of territory, but to keep the structure of society intact."
The list of important stuff Orwell didn't predict de facto is a short one indeed.
Totally agree. They weren't predictions per se (or de jure, if one prefers), but they've acted out over time just as if they were (imo). Ergo my "de facto" qualifier.
"Who’s talking about confronting the structural problems in our political economy, the moral problems that are overwhelming our constitutional order? Those are the things that have the Republican base exercised, but who’s leading?"
If there is anyone leading, it would have to be Bannon. I listen with some regularity to the Warroom and that is pretty much the only place where the real contours of politics are being hammered away. Even much of the so-called right-wing, independent media is eliding the real, core issues that are a daily refrain on the Warroom: 1) We are being invaded by D-Day numbers of aliens every month 2) The ruling class doesn't even have enough respect for the American people to explain to them (us) how the structural deficits are going to be financed--let alone the massive add-ons allegedly for Covid 3) The stolen election has had catastrophic consequences and we cannot go forward without getting to the bottom of 2020 4) We have to get to the bottom of the Covid origins and government perfidy (dare we say attempted genocide?).
I don't see a single elected official who has anywhere near the voice and reach of Bannon and although he does trigger my "spidey sense," he's the only figure on the right who seems to have a clue.
There are plenty of voices talking about this they are simply all on the outside of power and control , all separated not to say isolated. The only way to get in power or gain power is to come together, form a large enough coalition to take meaningful action ( be it political, marshal, revolutionary, informational, etc...) but that is precisely what our enemies in this war are working so hard to prevent any of us doing. I think a big part of their strategy to that end is to foster the (illusory) hope that there are political options or legal options under the current system so we all keep hoping instead of realizing that the only option left us is for the greater mass of non-elite citizens to rise up and revolt. The two-party pantomime is all part of the show.
I suggest you invest a bit of time to check out Bannon's Warroom. He has leveraged a very large audience with calls to action along a whole host of issues. Perhaps it will all be ineffectual in the end--a great way for grifters to sell books to a large audience--but it seems to me that the show has become a nexus for many of those formerly isolated efforts. I think you'll find that it fits into your category of meaningful "informational" coming together. It seems to be genuine--but of course sincerity can be faked.
Thanks Lawrence L. Yeah there is much that is salutary but also much that is suspect. Whether it's Bannon or Lindell or Trump or Robert Malone or Tucker, or... it seems if you want to fight the powers that be you have to do it without becoming too dangerous to them. I tuned out of Bannon after the whole J6 testimony imbroglio. Whatever happened with that? Did Bannon testify? Did he force any kind of discomfort on Nancy Pelosi? I'm not picking on Bannon, I or you or anyone of us could recount thirty big issues of justice and freedom that have blazed onto the scene in the past 6 years and then just fizzled out and came to nothing or went to sleep or was buried or pick your metaphor.
"You should always be wary of anybody – individual or institution – whose actions accidentally achieve the exact opposite of their stated aim. That’s a simple rule to live by."
What a great line. Am I nuts to think they're really may be something to that whole idea that actions speak louder than words, and results speak louder than professed intentions?
I would only quibble that the word "accidentally" in the above advice should be replaced by something like "accidentally or otherwise." As it is currently worded it doesn't directly get at the ever-present possibility that the results are in fact precisely what was intended all along, rhetoric to the contrary not withstanding.

German Chemical Giant Warns Of "Total Collapse" If Russian Gas Supply Cut
CEO of Germany's multinational BASF SE, the world's largest chemical producer, has warned that curbing or cutting off energy imports from Russia would bring into doubt the continued existence of small and medium-sized energy companies, and further would likely spiral Germany into its most "catastrophic" economic crisis going back to the end of World War 2.
One doesn't necessarily need to be clever or particularly intelligent to tear down things and destroy them. All you have to do is have enough knowledge of how something works to know how to break it.
These are "never let a crisis go to waste" people who excel in creating crises and leveraging them. They also see themselves as "gods" who are omniscient and omnipotent and who therefore do not need to worry about unforeseen consequences and contingencies. That failing, together with their inability to build a new system that works will be there downfall, IMO. So, a combination of both stupidity and malice, but mostly arrogance and amorality.
That has ever been their modus operandi. "We're in the minority. We need majorities in Congress to do stuff." And when we give them majorities, "We need the presidency to do stuff." Surprise--no stuff ever gets done.
Meanwhile, the Dems find a way to stymie, investigate, and defraud a Republican president for four years--and then hound him afterwards to boot. I invite you to scroll through the rolls of Republican House and Senate members and pick out the ones who have made a name for really fighting (hint: if you haven't ever heard of them they're worthless). The current GOP needs to be primaried.

I have heard it called "accidentally on purpose", when one intends to accomplish a misdeed while avoiding taking any blame for the results.
Shortages requires allocation/rationing,
Rationing requires ID,
What better way to control the populations and ration access to food, energy, etc than through CDBC's?

Sounds like a pretty big deal, and not one that would easily happen by accident, right?
OK. How do you feel about the Off Guardian, then?
Here's a guy from Germany who seems to agree with CNN--and the Off Guardian:

Because Hanlon has a razor doesn't mean I believe it.
Our world is currently run by a particularly evil group of people.

Unfortunately stupidity doesn't adequately explain it so we are left w malice.
