This story seems to be getting a fair amount of attention:
CIA Bribed Analysts To Change Lab-Leak Conclusions: 'Senior-Level' Whistleblower
A 'senior-level' CIA whistleblower has come forward to allege that the agency bribed analysts to change their opinion that Covid-19 most likely originated in a lab in Wuhan, China, according to the NY Post.
The whistleblower told House committee leaders that his agency ' tried to pay off six analysts who found SARS-CoV-2 likely originated in a Wuhan lab if they changed their position and said the virus jumped from animals to humans,' according to a Tuesday letter from the chairmen of two House subcommittees investigating the pandemic response and US intelligence, Brad Wenstrup (R-OH) and Mike Turner (R-OH).
Lots of other outlets are carrying the story. To me, the big question is: Why? Why would the CIA be in such a panic to divert attention from the obvious origins of the GoF Corona virus? After all, China is Public Enemy #1 for the US, the Neocons and every politician seeking reelection have been gunning for China for years—so why the coverup? Could it be because the whole project was funded by the US Deep State?
File under: It’s the right thing to do, and it’s also good politics. Trump did it in 2016 with his pro-life stand and his pledge on judges, and he’s doing it again in 2024 by defending human dignity against those who seek to abolish human nature:
Yes, that article is from way back in January. But this one is from this week:
Trump vows to fight 'transgender insanity,' sign law banning 'child genital mutilation
"On Day 1, I will sign a new executive order to cut federal funding for any school pushing critical race theory, transgender insanity and other inappropriate racial, sexual or political content on our children," he said.
"I will keep men out of women's sports," he added. "I will sign a law prohibiting child genital mutilation in all 50 states."
"Could you imagine 10 or 15 years ago having some politician ... saying, 'I will stop child mutilation without parental consent?'" Trump asked. "Can you imagine if you had made that statement 10 years ago, they would say, 'Is this guy crazy?'"
Speaking of Trump’s candidacy, so did Vladimir Putin today—he sees the jihad against Trump as a positive, although not for the reasons Progs do. Rather, it’s because of what Trump is exposing:
Putin Mocks 'Rotten' US System For Prosecution Of Donald Trump
It was quite obvious this moment was coming... Russian President Vladimir Putin has mercilessly mocked the US political system for the Biden admin's prosecution of Donald Trump. …
Putin speaks out about the cases against Donald Trump:
“This shows the whole rottenness of the American political system, which cannot claim to teach others about democracy. What’s happening with Trump is a persecution of a political rival with political motives.” pic.twitter.com/oouu6rQwyQ— Matthew Luxmoore (@mjluxmoore) September 12, 2023
…
"Everything that is happening with Trump is the persecution of a political rival for political reasons. That’s what it is. And this is being done in front of the public of the United States and the whole world," he added.
This would put Putin more or less in company with Don Surber—or vice versa. Doesn’t matter, does it?
Many readers are under the impression that they have a choice in next year’s presidential election. Allow me to disabuse them of this false notion. Alvin Bragg, Jack Smith and Fani Willis took away the right of Republicans to choose a presidential candidate by indicting President Donald John Trump. Because the charges are bogus, we must re-elect him or government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall perish from the earth.
The indictments are a heinous act that rubs our noses in the filth, garbage and sewage of a power-mad central government that now exceeds the worst nightmares of some of our Founding Fathers. They were anti-Federalists who opposed ratification of the Constitution. They included Patrick Henry, who once said give me liberty or give me death.
We now say Trump or death, and that is no joke. Organizing opposition can get you 22 years in prison. The Republican Party goes along with this evil to get along.
Don’s on quite a roll. Follow the link for the rest.
I actually thought that the antics of the goofball governor of New Mexico was part of a Dem election strategy. Boy, was I wrong! Progs are running in the opposite direction at the notion that governors can rule by decree, renounce any oath to uphold the Constitution, and deny that the Constitution contains any unalienable rights. Law Enforcement agencies are publicly refusing to enforce the “public health emergency” executive order, rightly regarding their duty to be to enforce laws (which NM does have), not executive decrees. The latest blow against her came from the New Mexico AG:
New Mexico AG to Governor on Defending Her Second Amendment Suspension: Drop Dead
“Though I recognize my statutory obligation as New Mexico’s chief legal officer to defend state officials when they are sued in their official capacity, my duty to uphold and defend the constitutional rights of every citizen takes precedence,” Torrez’s letter stated. “Simply put, I do not believe that the Emergency Order will have any meaningful impact on public safety but, more importantly, I do not believe it passes constitutional muster.”
It’s a very bad look to come before a court as a public official, represented by private counsel rather than your AG. Very positive development.
Will the AG’s action make it more likely that a court would decide the case isn’t moot even if it comes before the court after the 30 day expiration? Possibly. The theory would be: Stop her before she tries that sh*t again! Courts aren’t supposed to be in the whackamole business. Could work.
We’re living in a totally insane world when Vladimir Putin makes more sense than every democrat senator and most of the republicans.
Regarding the tyrannical NM governor, another data point will be if any NM State Patrol officers are dumb enough to effect an arrest of any of those protesting with open and concealed carry in Old Town Albuquerque as the governor stated was going to happen this morning. With the State AG gone as a backstop, something tells me the wind has gone out of the State Patrol's sails after today. Being hung out to dry is not in the job description.
