Yes. The distinction between Turley and SWC is this. They both agree that the law doesn't apply to the facts here. However, SWC fears that law doesn't actually matter to the Garland DoJ. I think they're both right.

Greenwald, on Tucker last nite, said that all three major media outlets in Brazil thought, UNTIL THIS WEEK, that the two dead rioters were black. Same with The Independent in the UK, and with a Dutch outfit.

Despite all if the political narrative, racism, lying and spinning. For once we saw a truly bad case be torn to shreds on its poor merits and a innocent person go home last night.

Trying to prosecute KR on federal charges--probably civil rights--would IMO be a very unsmart thing to do politically. However, that doesn't mean they won't do it. They may think that's the only way to keep their base's interest.

In DC in their echo chamber, it probably seems like a good idea.

They did it to Zimmerman and to Darren Wilson under Obama, with no blow back.

Nadler calls on DOJ to "review" Rittenhouse.

That didn't take long, did it?

No more evidence is needed that the democrats have turned our nation into a Banana Republic. Nothing like a good political prosecution to satisfy the blood lust of their foot soldiers and its MSM propaganda arm.

No one ever accused Nadler of political smarts.

No one ever accused Nadler of acting or thinking for himself, or for that matter of being in control of any of his bodily functions.

Congrats; you're the first entity on the 'net I've seen bring up this question. I was independently wondering about the same thing.

Now let's wait to see what the Garland DoJ will do with the case- you know they want to go after Rittenhouse.

Kamala > Garland?

can't wait for the Black Bloc to resume their destruction en masse, and for Garland's DOJ to dismiss it as playful taunting

Brandon has some unwise words to answer for after calling Rittenhouse a white supremacist. I'd enjoy seeing a civil suit filed against Brandon and the 'news' media by Rittenhouse.

Don't worry, this regime and its Woke handlers will get the DoJ, or the Pelosi/ Cheney/ Schumer Congress, to gin-up some charges against Kyle, the judge, and/ or the jurors.

Like they did vs. Flynn and Carter Page.

You may be correct as this verdict wasn't only about Rittenhouse but about the Second Amendment and private citizens defending themselves and property with firearms. And that is what the left cannot allow to stand as was witnessed in the case of the McCloskey's.

But this was a big win not only for Rittenhouse but for the Second Amendment. Big losers were the Wisconsin governor for sitting on his hands and allowing destruction of cities he should have been protecting and the national news media where numerous outlets defamatory campaign against Rittenhouse is exhibit one in any lawsuit Rittenhouse may bring against them.
