Watching this administration fumble around is like trying to look away from a train wreck, you try but you just can’t pull it off. These people are short on smart and way long on stupid. They don’t seem to be able to maintain a keen grasp of the obvious and the country is left to pick up the tab for that shortcoming.
What else we don't know about Russian and Iranian capabilities, but that we can safely assume is that the Russians in particular have given the same level of attention to their nuclear capability as they have to their hypersonic, AD and drone sectors. That's something Nuland and the neocons need to remember if they ever think the unthinkable in order to fulfill their crazy plans.

The Biden Administration just literally just blew up all the weapons of the Iraqi brigade that was fighting ISIS!
Let that sink in...

The US: We don't want to escalate the war in the ME, but we bombed Yemen & killed 10 Yemenis, we bombed Syria & Iraq & killed 16 Iraqis, 7 Syrians, but please de-escalate coz we will bomb you more in the coming days. In the meantime we are sending bombs to Israel to bomb Gaza.
No, i meant what I said. Americans play checkers and the Russians (etc) play chess. And American media only knows how to report on checkers. The article explains how the Russians think. It is a great article.
The Russians get the military equipment that keeps Russia safe. The U.S. gets the military equipment that keeps the military industrial complex rich. As long as the msm can keep the majority of Americans in the dark nothing will change
During my time in the UK Navy (not quite wooden ships, but not far off!) we had a great anti-aircraft system called the Seawolf. Very accurate and effective. The only problem was that if you flew more than 2 aircraft at it, it tended to shut down. This is what Russian, Iran and the Houthis will do: overwhelm the UKUS missile systems. As Col McGregor said, navies are either subs or targets.
I was listening to Danny Davis with a former CIA operative from the ME the other day, and the big question to them was, how could they not have known something was incoming. So something else is involved, too. Re the gatling guns, I believe they were saying the range is 6-8k ft. So when then incoming is traveling fast--a missile rather than a drone--there's little room for error.
The radar, a tpy-75, is a 55 years old mobile version first introduced in 1968, that a new replacement was hurried into production to be deployed 2025.
I knew nothing of this prior to now so what you are saying is shocking to me. In light of this and the general impotence of our defenses that is being exposed I'm thinking that maybe that $6B the Biden admin freed up for Iran was sort of like the Washington Generals paying off the Harlem Globetrotters (BRICs) for the rights to continue to play with them for awhile longer. "Please don't hurt us and please give us time to make us look good to our own population! After all we gave you all of that money!" Typical Western strategery: steal something away and then offer it back on your own terms.
From what I picked up, the U.S. still living in the day the cold war ended of U.S. being the world’s only superpower.
Therefore the U.S. has no reason to worry about advancing its military technology, and can reap the rewards of winning the Cold War plus the Gulf Wars. Less military contractors are needed (Clinton), and any wars will be guerilla wars against second (Syria, Serbia, Iraq)) or third world insurgents (Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria).
Unfortunately other countries have advanced their military (China, Russia, and Iran) looking at U.S. weaknesses and opportunities, while the U.S. kept building Cold War era fragile, high maintenance weapons with a hollowed out industrial base and focused on a politically correct military that rooted out white Supremacy and forced the Covid Jab on its military.
The end result is a huge deficit in military recruiting from traditional military families that are usually at the sharp end, that served due to patriotism.
An army can survive college kids and hippies refusing to serve, as they often did during Vietnam. What it can't survive is its core recruitment class opting out. It's the same in the UK: veterans are telling their kids not to fight and die for Big Evil.
Obviously the Biden administration replies on its media cohorts to "fix" the strategic and tactical mistakes- if the press will not report the (inconvenient) truth then American citizens won't know either which translates into greater freedom for the Biden administration. The same idea of US press isolation from truth has enabled Russia to defeat us in Ukraine. Propaganda may help, but relying entirely on a tame press also disallows any corrective action initiated by publicity. The American public was very deliberately excluded from the Ukraine truth, which although it allowed less criticism to the directed to the Biden administration also ensured American defeat because nobody considered it a defeat, given the avoidance of the press towards the subject. It is very clear that the administration is unconcerned with actual defeat, as long as Americans are ignorant of that defeat.
How can the Russians have figured anything out since we've had them on the run for going on two years now? Are we sure it isn't solar flares messing with our electronics?
Causing all kinds of damage.

85 targets struck.
Five days after the fact.
If anyone thinks this was anything other than one big sound and light show, you’re insane.
Nothing of importance was struck.
Nothing will change.
We spend nearly one trillion dollars a year for this.
Syrian sand deposits have been severely impacted.
USAF = ISISAF?

The Iraqi army is outraged by the US strikes on its weapons depot, which was used to fight ISIS, and the US ambassador has been summoned
Iran called the US strikes a strategic mistake that will increase the country's involvement in the region

You might find this article interesting. It talks about how American media doesn’t understand what is really going on.

You mean doesn't WANT to understand what is going on.

The c-ram system is a land based phalanx system, basically a Gatling gun with an electric motor that fires 20 mm shells.
There is also a rumor that the drone attack was timed to occur when a U.S. drone was returning.
The phalanx also needs to be pointed the right direction,
And detect the drone / missile in enough time to engage it.
And the system can be overwhelmed.
Plus as the article stated, the Russians are learning all the characteristics including weaknesses of Western Systems being used in Ukraine.

Read something somewhere where missile at Mach 2.5 gun reaction time was 2 to 5 seconds before it would have struck.

Reminder the EU has $300B of Russian funds locked up.
Reprobates all. Mercouris says the EU has become the new Warsaw Pact.
EU or City of London?
Ukraine spoilage of US IFF shared elsewhere.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Identification_friend_or_foe
I would not be surprised if this happened.
Russia has Ukraine throughly penetrated intel wise.
And with the pervasive hacking of U.S. military suppliers I would not be surprised if the IFF information was hacked.
And the Russians have been monitoring Ukrainian use of IFF, and may have found weaknesses / zero day vulnerabilities.
And what's scary for the GAE is that Russia is sharing what it can with Iran and its other allies.
The answer is the increasingly poorly educated & unprincipled leadership of our federal government.

Wait till the sleeper cells get activated here and in EU.
Yeah.

Yep. Soon we'll be complaining that they're sending their missiles over in human waves, the meanies.
I blame Climate Change. Same thing causes all of the sudden deaths occurring.
Baffling, ain't it?
Nope - definitely gremlins.
The American Hero airman B. Bunny captured an interaction in a documentary.
That is so great. That's about where we are.
