There’s a bit of a buzz today because of a NYT times article on Saturday that more or less throws Zhou under the bus. It seems Dems don’t want him to run again in 2024—that’s for those who missed that he “ran” in 2020. But most of the quotes of Dems from the article—get the gist here …

indicate little in the way of regret in any substantive way. Yes, they regret that they appear to be headed for a serious shellacking in November and they prefer to put the blame for that on the hapless Zhou. Of course, they don’t accept the reality of their predicament—the real reasons behind it—that TGP points out. I’ve been telling my wife this for months and months:

This is what happens when a gang of individuals steal an election and put in a place a senile old clown who no one likes and who has no base of followers.

On the other hand, they have NO regrets for the policies that have trashed the country. Their only regret is that they haven’t been able to wreak more destruction. Talk about clueless! Texas Democrat Jasmine Crockett, a candidate running for a House seat in deep blue Dallas:

“Democrats are like, ‘What the hell is going on? Our country is completely falling apart.”

Conservatives, on the other hand, are like, ‘What did you expect, Jasmine? Do you know the definition of insanity?’

Jasmine, however,

“was disappointed that the Biden administration and Congressional Democrats had not advanced more of their leftist agenda. She also expressed concern for Democrats lagging behind Republicans in terms of voter enthusiasm.”

Right. She doesn’t see any connections going on there between policies and the country falling apart. Magic Prog incantations are supposed to shield them from the consequences of their policies and actions.

This snippet will tell you something, maybe a lot, about Dems in general:

“Many Democratic leaders and voters want Mr. Biden to fight harder against Republicans, while others want him to seek more compromise” the Times reported. “Many of them are eyeing 2024 hoping for some sort of idealized nominee — somebody who isn’t Mr. Biden or Ms. Harris.”

That somebody would look like the Democratic version of Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis, according to Alex Wyshyvanuk, a data analyst from Annapolis, Maryland. “I need an equivalent of Ron DeSantis, a Democrat, but not a 70- or 80-year-old — a younger person,” he said. “Someone who knows what worked for you in 1980 is not going to work for you in 2022 or 2024.”

Hmmmm. 1980 works for me, and maybe that says something about the Republican enthusiasm that so concerns Dems. By the way, that’s a Ukrainian name—which may explain why young Sasha has 1980 so backwards.

David Axelrod, former chief strategist for President Barack Obama, spoke with the NYT, but maybe he just should’ve kept his mouth shut:

“Biden doesn’t get the credit he deserves for steering the country through the worst of the pandemic, passing historic legislation, pulling the NATO alliance together against Russian aggression and restoring decency and decorum to the White House,” Axelrod said.

Steering through the pandemic, or steering the country into a locked down ditch, replete with school closures and vaccine injuries? Restoring decency and decorum—the father of Hunter somehow is doing that? Refer to TGP above. People have totally tuned Zhou out. That didn’t matter during the 2020 campaign, because the Establishment rigged that one. But now it matters. People didn’t listen to Zhou in 2020 because he was kept in his basement, but now they’re not listening because, to the extent that his gibberish can be deciphered, it’s all lies. Like, No reputable economist thinks inflation will get out of control.

As for “pulling the NATO alliance together,” that hasn’t happened and people are slowly coming to the realization that they’ve been snookered once again. How long will it be before people come to an even fuller realization of just how badly the Zhou regime has screwed up—as expressed by KD in not-for-family-consumption style:

At the same time the so-called Russian Sanctions have blown up spectacularly in the western world's face.  Russia now has a stronger currency than it did before the war we instigated began. Oil and Natural Gas, never mind things like fertilizer, are nice and expensive which suits Putin just fine. He has negotiated long term interchange with China for both and is building out the capacity to wildly increase same. Europe is f*cked down the road as a result and in the meantime they got nothing for all these "sanctions."

For that matter so are we.  We've sequestered our inflationary deficit spending overseas via the China/US (and other nations, including India) trade deficit for the last two decades. That's over and will never come back because none of the nations that we were doing it with have any reason to allow it ever again and they don't need to. Not a single member of the Fed or other "economic punditry" has said one word about this although I sure as Hell have. At the same time Russia is shipping oil to these nations who then cross-ship it back, some refined first, and there's absolutely no way to do anything about that since we're incapable of sanctioning either without instantly detonating our supply chains, offshored labor or both. As a result we can no longer spend in deficit without it reflecting back into inflation which means the "free ride" gave has been terminated and while this was always eventually going to end we did this to ourselves and thus the inflation you're seeing and will continue to see was and is caused directly by our policies and our government.

As a matter of historical fact this process has been going on for a lot long than just “the last two decades.” This is one of those bipartisan things, just like the overseas war mongering that got totally out of control after the end of the Cold War. War, domestic war this time, has come home along with all those excess greenbacks that are heading our way.

In the meantime …

The Dem plan—or the NYT plan if you prefer—is for Zhou to announce he won’t run in 2024. But not until after Election 2022. Problem number one: Remember how Obama told us we should never underestimate Zhou’s ability to screw things up? Well, Election 2022 may be only five months off, but we’re witnessing Zhou’s ability to screw things up on a daily basis—or at least on a weekly basis, if you take into account all his downtime.

Problem number two is that there is a problem number two: That problem is the Dems themselves, because Zhou is far from their only problem. This past week we saw the Dem failsafe plan for Election 2022—the J6 “Insurrection” show trial—crash and burn. Just as nobody pays any attention to Zhou, nobody actually cares about J6 or believes the “Insurrection” narrative—although, grimly for panicky Dems—a majority of Americans, for excellent reasons, believe that high gas prices are part of the plan for the Green New Deal. A feature, not a bug.

Do the Dems have any other plan? The evidence is that their only other plan is to systematically attack the constitutional order of the country—and I mean that very literally. Their plan appears to be to incite the assassination of SCOTUS justices—and their children.

Or, failing that, to launch their own insurrection—a real insurrection. The current buzz is that they will blockade the streets around the SCOTUS to prevent the Court from carrying on its constitutional business. Ring any bells? Who thinks that will play well across the fruited plain? But, increasingly, reality doesn’t seem to factor into Dem calculations. Killing people, death and dismemberment, seems to have taken hold of their minds—as witness another scheme to dismember our constitutional order.

These absolute lunatics want Joe Biden to sign an executive order authorizing the use of federal buildings to perform abortions, not just in states where abortion is permitted, which is bad enough, but as a way to perform abortions in states that choose to outlaw most or all abortions.

Doing that would be outright dangerous. Do you want mass unrest? Because you get it by having the federal government, by decree of a single man, entering into red states to kill babies with taxpayer dollars. There’s a reason the Hyde Amendment exists, and it’s to diffuse stuff like this. Democrats don’t care, though. They are all in on hacking up kids in the womb, and they are obviously willing to do just about anything to ensure the practice continues.

It is hard for me to even write articles like this because the amount of murderous evil being perpetrated is almost too much to discuss without losing it. It’s impossible to conceive how anyone could be so obsessed with killing unborn babies that they’d actually propose illegally weaponizing the federal government and its agencies to override the will of the people in the states.

Besides, state laws are still laws. The federal government can not simply enter into a state and do whatever it wants contrary to the laws in those states. That includes killing people, unborn or otherwise. An executive order does not grant the power to ignore the Supreme Court and override laws that protect life. Any federal employees that try to follow such an order could be and should be arrested and charged.

Democrats are tearing this country apart. Something has to give because this kind of “anything goes to make sure I get what I want” attitude is destructive and treacherous.
