I saw this a little earlier:

https://www.mintpressnews.com/a-us-iran-war-what-the-battlefield-could-actually-look-like/288443/

Given this info and the situation, the Israeli government would have to have a death wish for its country to go ahead with a full-fledged attack on Iran's nuclear and other energy sites. Add to that if it hit the Iranian oil facilities energy prices in the West would crater economies just in time for the U.S. election. Who can constrain a supposedly apocalyptic Bibi?

I also noticed this article at the same URL:

"Israel to Establish Jewish-Only Settlements in Northern Gaza as Annexation Moves Forward"

Confirmation of the "Greater Israel" oriented ethnic cleansing of Palestinians which has been much discussed lately on MIH.

I read/heard awhile back that Netanyahu & Co. had plans to turn the Gaza Strip into 'Dubai II'. I can't remember the name of the project.

Perhaps included in the plan was a dock or pier that wouldn't break up by the force of a few small whitecaps.

Hmmm...always wondered why the pier built at the Gaza beach was so flimsy.

If Mercouris’ speculation about a joint US-Israeli attack against Iran is correct, then it would appear that perhaps my speculation in a recent comment about “the plan” being to start a war and use national security and survival as cover for suspending the Presidential election may not be far off the mark. The neocons get rid of Trump, get their war and can pretty much steamroll any opposition by branding them as traitors and, well looky here what I found in the back room, “insurrectionists” which would most certainly include those pesky MAGA folks along with the other domestic terrorists. Yes sir, a clean sweep and I’m pretty sure that the msm would join right in and justify the whole scheme as necessary to preserve “our democracy”. I know, I know, just the ramblings of of mind numbed conspiracy theorists.

Neocons don't have to stop anyone from being elected as exemplified by what they did with then-Pres. Obama. In 2013 Obama started working with Putin to straighten out things with Syria instead of talking about bombing Syria, Iran and Russia. This enraged neocons so they began a campaign saying Obama was "weak." Soon, Obama invited Robert Kagan to a private lunch at the White House following which Obama stopped diplomacy with Putin and instead spouted bellicose neocon regime change threats vs Syria et al. What likely put neocons over the edge was that on Sept. 11, 2013, NY Times ran an op-ed written by Mr. Putin, "A Plea for Caution From Russia," By Vladimir V Putin, in which he expressed his gratitude about Obama working with him on Syria matters: "My working and personal relationship with President Obama is marked by growing trust. I appreciate this.”…https://www.nytimes.com/2013/09/12/opinion/putin-plea-for-caution-from-russia-on-syria.html....So today if you're afraid of being labeled "weak," you brag about how you're "tougher" against Putin than all the rest.

Highly recommended. Note that the FBI actually did good investigations, but they were shut down by others higher in the Deep State pecking order. I suspect that the FBI has moved up in that pecking order in recent years.

Sounds like shut down was bipartisan.

Echoes of the Awan Brothers IT Scandal. I’m still amazed this was swept under the table.

So basically the whole rat's nest of Bush-era Neocons (Feith, Wolfowitz, Perle, Snowcroft, etc.) were on the take from foreign governments, including Israel, one way or another. Who'd a thunk it was more than just ideological for them? I'm so shocked! /s

"Do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul; rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell." Mat 10:28

As we wait for Israel's attack, remember there will be one worse thing: the gloating by Jewish women, and Gentile men, in the United States. Stomach-turning.

I don't know why but the Shakespeare quote "Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them" came to my mind when reading this. I don't think anybody believes that any of these categories will ever apply to Kamala (with the exception that Willie Brown might argue for the third one).

Does Israel's gaslighting about the effect of the Oct.1 Iranian missile strike have anything to do with the arrest of four American journalists who were arrested/detained by the Israelis for reporting on the actual missile damage?

I think so.

The four were beaten, and had their phones confiscated. Three have been released. Still incarcerated is Jeremy Loffredo, a journalist who files reports for The Grayzone. He is charged with 'aiding the enemy'.

Kim Iversen posted additional information and an update on Jeremy Loffredo.

She shared contact information for the US embassy in Israel. Folks can send their pleas for his release via email to this address:

JeruselumACS@state.gov.

Yes, that is how Jer. is spelled in the email address.

Here is the link to Kim’s report:

Oh thank you, Ray!

It is good he is out of the prison!

I will pray that he will be fully free to leave Israel on or before Oct. 20.

I wrote to the US embassy in Israel, and plan to write again.

The charges are bogus, especially given that the PBS reporter was never nabbed, as Jeremy was.

I just read your comment on the other thread. In the Duran episode I reference here Mercouris and Alex are convinced that NATO resources are all shifting toward Iran--I think he means US/UK resources. I'm very skeptical that those resources will prove sufficient. Their reasoning is that the Neocons are telling Zhou, look, you (never "we") lost in Ukraine because you didn't go in hard like we told you to, but you can still win against Iran. I suspect the Pentagon is shitting bricks over this, because every war game they've ever done against Iran is a loser. And a loser against Iran would involve big time losses.

Mark,

I agree. a fight against the Iranians is asking for trouble and problems they cannot solve. The generals do not want war....They know that Iran is too large and a hard nut to crack. the repercussions , political , militarily and economic will entail a a very high cost.... They know.

On a different note.

Let me thank you for all the hard work you do. With family issues and all, it truly is a big job. Being a quality information aggregate, intel source with observation and analysis is no small endeavor. Your hard work is appreciated and this has become one of my go-to sites to find out what is going on in the world. Thank you for that. Your hard work is valued and appreciated.

Wish you and your family all the best!
