Of course, the major problem with the diplomacy of the collective West is that virtually all those countries—there are a few exceptions, like Hungary, and even Poland in certain respects—walk in lockstep with US diktats on policy. In no aspect of foreign policy is this more apparent than with regard to Russia. Alex Mercouris has spoken repeatedly of the atmosphere at the February 2022 Munich Security Conference—just before Russia finally responded to Western aggression. The atmosphere, he has said, was almost “euphoric”. The Europeans were elated at the prospect of the US subjugating Russia and sharing with them the Russian resource treasure house. That was then, but count on this: the Russians haven’t forgotten any of that.
Does anyone remember when Trump had a meeting with Putin and our media couldn't get over Trump's refraining from viciously attacking Putin to his face afterwards. When it counted, in Syria one February evening and Russia attacked our military, Trump annihilated them. As for his personnel choices, is there anybody worth anything in Washington?
Thank you for calling my attention to my mistake. What I read February of 2018 was obviously false, and has since been corrected by our learned historians. In a few years I expect everything I am now reading to be similarly corrected.
BREAKING: Paul Ryan claims he will switch parties if Donald Trump wins nomination.

It's a hilarious notion that there's someone out there who's like, "Welp, that's the last straw for me with Trump! WE. CAN'T. RISK. LOSING. PAUL. RYAN!!!!!!"
Go for it Paul! It doesn't matter which lapel pin you wear, you are in fact a member of the purple tie wearing Globalists United Party, a little purple GUPpy, bottom feeding swamp fish.
"Recent events have simply highlighted the problem with Western diplomacy, as well as the fact that the US really doesn’t do diplomacy at all. Instead, US “diplomats” largely stage publicity events with a view to molding public opinion at home, which can then be used to leverage pressure on foreign governments."
I've written before that I have, on my wife's side of the family, she's Greek, that her cousin was part of Greece's diplomatic corp. Her cousin was assigned some years ago to Ukraine and his last ambassadorship was to Canada. He remarked to me that the U.S. has the worst diplomats and they are often thought of as out of their depth (since most are not schooled in diplomacy due to their posts being largely political and payback for large donations to the party and campaigns). Your characterization is spot on, they don't do diplomacy, they do duplicity and bullying.
Speaking of Hillary, which Trish Wood did, she of the Russian re-set button, was the quintessential left wing idiot and fooled no one of her duplicity. To further her idiocy she got the spelling wrong on the re-set button. Smartest people in the room, yeah sure.
Knowing Ol' Hill and her vindictiveness, not entirely sure that the "peregruzka" ("overload" or "overburden") message, instead of the "perezagruzka" ("reset" or "reboot") allegedly intended, was all that innocent of a typo, considering that Magnitsky Act, Maidan and various sanctions overloads were still in the works... 😉
Her work in the Obama administration was 100% self-serving. She used the office to parcel out classified information (secret server) to rake in donor dollars while undermining our standing in the world. She knew that she would be protected and got away with treasonous behavior.
"It all points to the lack of desire on the part of America to engage in any meaningful dialogue with Russia—in fact, a desire to prevent such dialogue, which might open a door for US vassal states to break lockstep with our foreign policy against Russia."
PRECISELY!! Reminds me of that old trial-lawyer adage: "If you have the law, pound the law. If you have the facts, pound the facts. If you have neither, pound the table!"
As far out on this limb as our Neocon crazies have gone, we've got absolutely no response on the merits, so must keep emoting, projecting and walking out of meetings in a huff.
Hungarian FM Szijjarto today formally requested investigation of Nord Stream under auspices of UN, separate and apart from Russia's UN inquiry. Facts and law could get interesting.
Putin: "Western elites aren’t trying to conceal their goals, to inflict a ‘strategic defeat’ to Russia," he said last Tuesday. "They intend to transform the local conflict into a global confrontation."
I'm currently still listening to Ritter and the Polish Commie. What's interesting for me is to read the Polish running comments in the sidebar. Lots of different views represented.
Yellen went to Kiev??? WTH!!!
Had to collect her money like the other corrupt politicians
Its yet another front in the war being waged by the global cabal, using Yellen to target The Fed Reserve and Powell.
She's bought and paid for, and absolutely raping the Treasury.
Luongo suggests she's the real president.
Hey T., I said the same thing when I saw that! Actually I stopped two letters before I got to the H.
What, Biden can’t throw the money away fast enough??
Unbelievable SMH. Gray haired old women. To do what??? Please.
You got me, when you figure it out let me know.

"annihilated" doesn't fit either version of the events. FWIW

When both sides lie, it’s hard to know what is true.
I used to trust the us version more, sigh.

Yeah, so maybe winning looks like losing, but if we call it winning ...
Is that our exit ramp?
