My take is that Putin still wants to end this with an abolute minimum of Russian on Russian fighting. The videos show a "convoy" that is made up of personnel transport vehicles, not combat vehicles--buses, pickups, troop trucks.

NEWS UPDATE WAGNER CONVOY TOWARDS MOSCOW EARLY AFTERNOON JUNE 24

The Wagner convoy of (initially) 170 vehicles are travelling north on the M4 highway. RuAF air assets try to stop them, but not by destroying vehicles but the road to minimise casualities.

On the map you see how far the convoyhas reached. On video 2 you see the general type of vehicles in the convoy.

On video 3 you see Wagner AD Strea-10 firing at a Ka-52 in Voronezh. On video 4 you se signs of (probably) FAB-500 on the M4 highway.

True, but Prigozhin needs to go before a firing squad "pour encourager les autres". I don't say that lightly, but this is an existential struggle for Russia.

NabrezhnyeIntel:

Claims by E.Prigozhin that military units in Lipetsk joined the side of Wagner are untrue. Wagner forces were repulsed on the outskirts of Voronezh by Military Police; and were forced to take the bypass.

It looks much more like a gambit to suck in Team Nuland. She’s been trying drive a wedge in there for months, so they gave her one.

Interesting theory. Nothing pleases me more than to see Nuland sucked in and made a fool of.

I think, perhaps, Prighozin suffered a mental break-down. It is difficult to explain this silliness any other way.

My thoughts also. His string of periodic bizarre statements and actions could also indicate that he is bipolar, which is aggravated by stress. His publicly criticizing and accusing the MOD of treasonous actions during time of war (on whatever basis) has to be seen as a form of madness in itself. Whatever the case, in the end he saw that his time of reckoning was coming and acted out because of it.
