Read a Don Winslow book many many years ago, good story but the bad guys were the good guys and the cops were all bad. As my nom de guerre would suggest, it didn’t sit well with me. When I looked into his other books it seemed to be a reoccurring theme. Did a little digging on him and saw what a Dem activist he was, so no more Winslow books for me, yup I’m petty like that.
During the interview Pres Biden indicated that he would not take a Cognitive Fitness test, because he was proving his fitness every day – making decisions, taking meetings, coping with unfolding situations, etc, etc.
So what IS the test then? – a stupid decision that gets us all killed?
At what point do his minders say ‘hey, he’s lost it – THAT decision proves it. Half the world is a smoking ruin – let’s replace him’.
Surely it is preferable to test his capacity in a controlled situation, rather than testing him by giving him free hand over OUR future?
The weird thing is that all those BB headlines could be true - especially the ones about British teeth.
I’m reading today Warner would be a VP ticket with Kama Sutra. Gaining some momentum.
Trump statements during this election cycle have tamed down the vengeance angle. Perhaps after the elections his approach will shift.
