One aspect rarely discussed is the complete abdication by legislatures at state and federal levels. This abdication completely frustrates the design of our system to rein in executives running amok. With few exceptions, these legislatures take no action to override unconstitutional orders by the executive branch. I will leave the reason aside for now. Suffice to say that there is no hope that Congress will do anything to roll back the gangster control of the federal government, so elections at the federal level are an exercise in political theater (similar to airport security theater, mask and jab mandate public health theater, and foreign policy theater. Really, the illusion painted by these criminal hucksters is so all encompassing it's difficult to find bedrock reality). State elections might be effective in states where the voting system hasn't been completely compromised. But even so, will any state legislature stand up to a rogue governor or to the feds? 2022 will tell.

I just got an email from someone who apparently prefers anonymity. He corrects my sloppiness:

<<For example, the majority of Dems under 50 watch Tucker.>>

Nope, not even close. The majority of Dems under 50 who watch cable news watch Tucker. But since only a small fraction of any demographic group watch cable news, the importance of this fact is wildly different from the way you stated it. This new polling result is very significant, to be sure, but I hope you agree that precision is important.

Thanks to two very different bosses I worked for in the early 1970s, I learned some things about respect and trust. There is a respect that goes with a position--boss, military officer, pastor, professor, and a lot of other positions, including in government. But that positional respect has a useful life--it is good for a time period, say two weeks to a couple of months. The main value of positional respect is that it gives you time to earn the real thing. Good bosses understand that. The bad ones are clueless, and end up wondering why everybody quits and hates them. It is becoming clearer and clearer that many of our politicians and bureaucrats are not the good ones.

Trump went into the presidency without a lot of respect; he actually gained some, as people saw what actions he took and what policies he pushed for. Biden, Harris, Schumer, Pelosi and more--and especially Collins, Fauci, Walensky, and the rest of the health-care bureaucrats--have totally blown any respect the mass of our citizens had for them two years ago.

The other important matter on the respect issue: once you have lost your people's respect, it is very difficult to outright impossible to gain it back. And respect for your position will no longer help you, because you blew it the first time.

One has to wonder where all the students are going as enrollment is falling in the major liberal hellholes. Not all can be homeschooling or private schooling. How many parents have sent their children to stay with relatives that live in 'saner' regions of the nation, at least temporarily, where they can still receive an education without dictatorial school board 'feel good' policies?

There are some big issues on the table for 2022, and none are good for the donkeys. Parents being disrespected by liberal school boards is a big one - where even liberals would cross over to vote against the villains trying to control and abuse their children. While most of the media focus is on the state and national level races, one of the biggest surprises come general election day 2022 may well be what happens on the city and county level. Given the level of anger against the mandates, school boards, and tyrannical city and county governments, it may manifest into a much bigger wipe out than the progressives and the legacy media can imagine.

In Maryland, the Governor has made it possible for nursing students to replace the fired nurses in the State's healthcare facilities, after completing just ONE semester of nursing school! Having completed a year of nursing school myself before switching majors in college, I can't believe how utterly desperate and irresponsible the Governor's "solution" is.

"Does Slow Joe have a magic wand to wave, making "better" and "enhanced" appear on whim?"

The therapeutics SPOTUS is babbling about have been in the works since last Summer--- the miracle pills that Pfuzer and Moderna are cranking out that will go for something like $700 per dose and injure/ kill like mRNA jabs. THAT is the pivot the Criminals are doing.

Nope, no clean end--LOL. And the old banned therapeutics would do just fine. As KD asks today:

We have ****ed an entire generation of young people -- for nothing.

Now about all the other lies, such as, for example, safe and effective.

Where's retribution for all of this intentionally-inflicted damage?

Public health officials. Fauci of course but every last state and local public health official who peddled this monstrously murderous public health policy need to be hounded out of their sanity at a minimum, imprisoned for life at optimum. Vladimir Zelensky MD can head the international tribunal.

There is always divine intervention to consider as well. I've actually seen what had to be that stuff in action, and it's no joke.
