Tx for following up w Bongino whom I’d lost track of…so the circle of the gullible widens…as the noose tightens. The idea that Downer, aptly named, shared a beer with Papadapoulos, left out the whole 5Eyes kit-and-caboodle, dialed up by O, HRC (feverishly working w Ukies to get Trump!) and Brennan. What a massive crime, coverup and insult to sovereignty and citizenship. Jaw-hitting-the-floor time…

Richard Poe speaks very eloquently about the British role in shaping and controlling the US through its deep state bureaucracy and spy agencies. It seems like it has been going on for a very long time. His podcast with Tom Luongo is excellent (Luongo lets his guest talk for a change!) and I’ve listened to it twice.

Truman . . . didn't he sign some kind of national security related legislation in 1947? Quote from General Jack D. Ripper "1947, Mandrake" .

I can attest to the fact that the "Deep State" aka Rockefellers and friends have been running the USA since WW 2.

My brother was married to one.

The Oligarchs sent some of their kids to work for the CIA for a couple of years or a whole career.

His father in law was a Lifer.

The guy didn't do shit but hang out at the Chevy Chase Club and spy on his friends after his long career at the State Department with plumb assignments like a diplomat in Rome.

Shocking he was put there right when the Club of Rome made their Declaration

Anyway, I could do a dissertation on this but I'm not fup to it.

We all get it.

The “voters,” the “elections,” the “presidency” itself have become mere props in the illusion created for us by the intelligence apparatus. It’s all pretend. A house of mirrors. Nothing on the surface is real. The narrative becomes just another method of control.

This looks like DoJ covering Zhou's back:

FBI informant at heart of GOP’s Biden bribery allegations indicted over false statements

The confidential source at the center of allegations being promoted by House Republicans that President Biden accepted a bribe has been arrested and charged with making false statements to the FBI.

Taibbi and crew suggest the philosophy of foreign intervention called "bumps". Somehow Carter Page was asked to give a speech in Russia at the presumption of a school's choice. I gotta believe the Russian gov't was aware of this and probably why Putin was a bit "empathetic" to Trump.

I can see Barry choosing to pull this caper off with Brennan. I can see Brennan wagging his tail in great anticipation of fulfilling this request. I kinda doubt HRC was clued in early on these operations but apparently did get engaged at some point in 2016 especially as the "missing emails" caper was heating up. Thinking about the comments her team made right around the time of the Dem national convention.

Give Taibbi and crew credit for their diligence and perseverance for sure. I read part 1 yesterday but haven't had a chance yet to read today's substack.

"This is why Carter Page’s trip to Moscow to give a graduation address at some institute was a godsend for the USIC."

Not exactly a godsend, since in all likehood it was the USIC who recruited total political neophyte (but long time CIA asset) Carter Page to the Trump campaign and arranged for him to show up in Moscow to give a "graduation address" and attend "secret meetings".

There are no godsends and there are no coincidences.

You're the only one who thinks that's a likelihood of any sort at all. At the time of his trip he was no longer a CIA asset but was, instead an FBI asset and key witness gone rogue in a criminal case against Russians in NY. The FBI was on a jihad against him at the time of his trip, having opened a full investigation against him. Then in Sept 2016 Carter went public with his complaints about FBI leaks. If Page were cooperating with the FBI against Trump he would not have gone public. Also, at the time of his trip the FBI had not opened Crossfire Hurricane, so recruiting an informant to infiltrate a political campaign without a full investigation open would have been a major violation of DoJ guidelines.

Since when does concern for violations of the DoJ concern anyone in Washington DC? I have little to say about the whys and wherefore of Carter Page, but the evidence of wrong doing appears so deep that citing violations of the DoJ seem to be moot under our Oligarchs. Psychopaths do not worry about the law, they worry about getting caught by making a silly mistake and they have the means to buy silence in order to cover their tracks.

If you've been reading my posts all along you'll realize that the Russia Hoax plotters were careful to follow the formal rules and guidelines--those would be silly mistakes. That's what Bongino means when he talks about the FBI going through the FISA process to "paper over" the fact that the CIA was getting most of the data via a backdoor with GCHQ. We have some circumstantial confirmation of all this in 1) the visit of the head of GCHQ to meet with Brennan in DC (when you would have expected him to meet with NSA, GCHQ's counterpart agency), and 2) the GCHQ head's abrupt resignation after Trump's inauguration.

Carter Page proved himself incapable of following instructions during his involvement in the NY FBI case against the Russian bankers. He was a key undercover cooperating witness for the FBI whose identity had not been disclosed. But, without speaking to his handlers, he went ahead and disclosed his identity as the undisclosed witness to Russian officials. The FBI and DoJ were tearass and immediately opened a full investigation on Page.

Do you really think that the Russia Hoax plotters would trust an unreliable goof like Page to infiltrate the Trump campaign and not tell Trump what he was doing and for whom? And then Page went public claiming the FBI was smearing him with false allegations (true) of being a Russian agent in the Trump campaign (false). *Only a month and a half before the election.* Does that--an action that could only conceivably benefit Trump--sound like the action of a controlled agent tasked with undermining Trump? Stefan Halper, otoh, was a real FBI asset (on loan from the CIA). Halper's persistent cultivation of Page over the months is also a signal that Page was NOT an agent at that time and was not a mole in the Trump campaign. If he had been, he would have been spilling the beans to his handler and Halper would not have been contacting him and *recording* him for the FBI. I guarantee you that. Nor would the FBI have opened a full investigation on him.

On the other hand, it's entirely possible that Page could have been *duped* by various intel agencies--such as to make that trip to Moscow, perhaps at the suggestion of a Western operative associated with the Russian institute. But not as a controlled Western agent.

"recruiting an informant to infiltrate a political campaign without a full investigation open would have been a major violation of DoJ guidelines."

Page is CIA, not FBI. CIA doesn't have rules, nor is it subject to DoJ guidelines. BTW, what are the DoJ guidelines against murder, assassinations, coups d'etat, color revolutions, and government overthrows? Maybe we should ask John Brennan?

"Page is CIA, not FBI."

Page was turned over to the FBI because of his contacts with Russians in NY. His last three years before the Russia Hoax were as an FBI asset. This is well documented in public sources.

The question from a previous post of why is this stuff coming out now bothers me.

I’m Assuming a limited hangout on Russiagate.

Perhaps to prep a series of pardons by Biden before he hands over the nomination?

Or is this about applying more pressure on Biden, since he has been targeting Trump?

Or to shift the blame from domestic players to foreign agencies?

Or to shift the blame onto Brennan?

Or to reveal the Ukrainian connection as an excuse to abandon Ukraine?

The goal of the elites is to defeat Trump at any cost, and they are ruthless and relentless in this goal.

Or I’m just being paranoid?

You're not paranoid Ray. I asked similar questions in a previous post too. What is the rationale for this now? Credibility of "new source". Seth Rich, Jeff Epstein kinda stuff going on for quite some time. Guilt, desperation, conscious clearing? I lean in the direction of money is involved. Either someone's getting pinched or looking for a big pay day, book deals, etc.

Thanks for a great post. I too am reading all the Deep State origin books I can get my hands on. Our Congress passes laws that are never obeyed and there are no consequences. I also think there are still a large number of people who do not understand that Trump is not the criminal, but that he is fighting the criminals.
