"Most Bible teaching I come across is from a Protestant perspective, even though I am Catholic."
Very true--I'd say that the majority of Catholics have adopted a semi-fundamentalist Evangelical approach to the Bible. Not consciously, but in today's conciliar Church that's the air most people breathe. The Church has never truly come to grips with the issues I was trying to address years ago. In fact, over the weekend I got involved peripherally with a disturbing example of the effect this has.

I'm sure that there are still serious Catholic scholars of the Bible. I had at least one in college. When I read the Bible and have a question, there are many more entries from non-Catholic writers that appear as search results.
Grounding Catholics in the fundamentals has gone by the wayside.
I really doubt Mikey and the congress critters in thrall to the Pro-Israel Lobby gave any of this any thought at all. This post falls on deliberately deaf ears. It is also a bit of a joke, since enforcing this dictum would be impossible. Noise, ultimately.
Tesla alone requested over 2,000 H-1B visas during the period when it was laying off thousands of U.S. workers. This figure represents over three percent of the total H-1B visas available nationwide. According to the affected employees, many of those laid off were senior engineers with higher salaries, who have been replaced by more junior foreign engineers at lower pay rates.
Alex Krainer reports that in Croatia a "pro-Putin" presidential incumbent candidate totally crushed the establishment EU candidate. Looks rather like Central Europe is turning toward Russia--with the obvious exception of Poland. Czechia is probably wavering.
Yellen making noises and comments are designed to preclude any implementation of tax cuts by “smart” senators who will use Yellen’s comments as cover. “We have to be fiscally responsible and properly handle the debt situation. It’s for the children of course.” The solution for the DC denizens is always more pain upon the populace. Instead of tax cuts, look for the conversation to evolve into tax increases. The swamp can blame Trump for all of the economic chaos to come, and then offer their solution
I will consult the archives per your suggestion, but...
Please elaborate about Abraham. Do you not consider him a historical figure?
I'll answer first ... with a question:
What do you think Jesus meant when he said that God can raise up children of Abraham from stones?
In the meantime, here are at least two relevant posts from the archives:

But I have to insist that the best way to approach the archives is chronologically from the beginning.
I read the two entries. Thank you for them.

I look forward to reading more of your work. By the time I became aware of Meaning in History, you were concentrating on Obama and Trump and the hoax.

Massie argues that Johnson as Speaker will cost the GOP their majority.
Go figure.
