I actually had to read Rubin’s remarks twice because I thought I had read it too fast and incorrectly. I didn’t and I didn’t, he really did suggest something so colossally stupid that one would hope no one in a position of power would take him seriously. But as you said Mark, Neocons gotta Neocon. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t recall hearing Putin making any immoderate and suicidal remarks like that! Damn these people are not even rational most of the time, guess they’re taking their cues from clown in the White House.
Once that nuclear weapons genie is out of the bottle, good luck putting it back in, particularly with theater nuclear weapons. But we can feel confident that the MSM toadies will present the post-detonation scenes of horror in the best light possible for their chosen side.
Any nuclear detonation, or worse, an exchange between the two opponents will send the world's nuclear capable militaries into the highest alert condition to await guidance from their civilian leadership. And we have Joe Biden at the helm... That should scare the hell out of all Americans.
