Commentary by Jonathan Turley: Jonathan Turley @JonathanTurley The plea of Sidney Powell to six misdemeanors will allow her to avoid jail and only face minor fines. What she did not plead guilty to was the racketeering conspiracy... ...That was the most serious charge and tied in former president Donald Trump.
Trump is going to prison. However, it won't help the Deep State much. Au contraire, it might be the event that kicks things off in the US. It's not just in the Middle East that things are simmering to a boil. The last 4 years have built up a massive reservoir of anger among anyone who believes in some kind of freedom and democracy.
Read TechNo_Fog's new substack column (The Reactionary) that explains Powell's plea and its non-effect on Trump, entitled, "Prediction: Sidney Powell won't be cooperating against Trump Why Powell's plea deal doesn't help the RICO case against Trump". He explains that Powell's plea only applies to her misdemeanor acts in Coffee County. Trump was not involved in those acts and was likely unaware of her activities there.
Stalin and Lenin would be proud of the direction the United Socialist States of America has taken. One more election and it is anything goes no matter who is declared the winner. The Purge movies might be a good primer of what is to come.
I admit to have being very hopeful that these folks would save Trump and that they were all playing 4D chess against the DS. In reality, they were just a bunch of incompetents and fantasists, or something worse. What raised alarms for me was all the Q conspiracy garbage and, as you mention, Lindell's failed symposium. I wasn't expecting the DS to collapse as a result of it, but I was expecting some hard-hitting, coherent laying out of the arguments. Massive none-event. Now General Flynn, probably the sanest of the bunch, is telling the Q brigade to give it a rest.
"On April 30, 2014, Flynn announced his retirement effective later that year, about a year earlier than he had been scheduled to leave his position. *He was reportedly effectively forced out of the DIA* after clashing with superiors over his allegedly chaotic management style and vision for the agency."
My understanding is he wanted to turn DIA into a sort of CIA for military affairs--stepping on the toes of Deep State interests far more powerful than he was. Also, he caused a major dustup by writing a report that fingered the US role in creating ISIS.

I have no brief for Flynn.
Rising through the ranks in a bureaucracy is not a certification of intelligence, much less of integrity.
