The big news of yesterday—the Russian attack on Poland, as touted by the UK media and Estonia (a client state of MI6)—lasted for all of, what? 15 minutes? An hour? Even Poland—perhaps restrained by the US?—failed to jump on board the hoax train, which failed to leave the station. The usual knuckleheads in the US media attempted to raise the alarm, of course, but the administration here seems to have realized that the usual suspects were trying to drag the US far too close to the edge of the abyss for comfort. And so the truth was allowed to come out—swiftly. Which led to this interesting reaction from Moscow:
The Kremlin’s top spokesman offered rare words of praise for the United States and leftist President Joe Biden in particular on Wednesday, expressing appreciation for a “restrained and … professional” response to a missile landing in Poland on Tuesday night and killing two people.
This morning I listened to an uncharacteristically brief discussion of the G20 meeting by Alexander Mercouris. As usual, he had some insightful observations on offer, including several that touched on the decline of US geopolitical strategy and diplomacy. For example, he noted that Zhou only spoke briefly with China’s Xi—adding that increasingly China - US meetings consist of each side speaking past the other. Blame for this troubling inability to engage in exchange on serious issues involving two major countries, in Mercouris’ view (and mine), lies with the US inability to recognize China’s legitimate interests. According to Mercouris, and again I agree, the American notion that China can be bullied into abandoning its close ties with Russia seems extraordinarily naive. The alternative for China would obviously devolve into a type of vassal status with regard to America—an eventuality that nobody familiar with Chinese thinking can regard as probable.
Mercouris also pointed out that Zhou failed to engage with the Saudis at the G20. This is one more indication that Saudi Arabia is slipping out of the US sphere of influence, along with Turkey—joining its generational enemy, Iran in aligning more closely with Russia and Central Asia. Zhou’s brief stop in Egypt to lecture its government about “climate change” is unlikely to have made any impact on the continued gravitation of the most influential Middle East and Central and South Asian countries toward Russia and the emerging Eurasian coalition. Mercouris concluded by speculating that the G20 is continuing to slide into irrelevance.
Will Schryver has posted two incisive tweets summing up the geopolitical situation as we’ve been describing it. This situation will probably become more of a topic in the leadup to 2024 as average Americans become more aware of the effects this global transformation will have on life in the US:
Moving on to Covid.
I will mostly just point out two recent items, dealing with the serious side effects caused by the mRNA injections—side effects that are becoming more apparent by the day. The first comes from Australia:
How are Australia’s COVID authorities going to explain away a 63% drop in births?
It is possible that some of these numbers will be revised, but should the trend continue Australia will finish up with empty maternity wards.
The key to the medical tyranny that has been imposed on Australians over the last three years is the claim by “authorities,” whether government bureaucrats, politicians, or professional bodies, that they knew the truth about the virus and the so-called “vaccines.” Anyone who questioned that authority was demonized as ignorant, censored, and in some cases attacked or had their career ended. It was a bullying strategy based on the asymmetrical use of doubt: “You are not allowed to doubt us, but we can raise doubts about everything you might think or say – because who are you to ask questions?”
How, then, are Australia’s all-knowing “authorities” going to explain away the scarcely believable drop in Australia’s birth rate that has just been revealed by the Australian Bureau of Statistics? From October to November in 2021, there was a 21 per cent decrease in births (when compared with the average over a 10-year period), and from November to December there was a 63 per cent decrease. December was about nine months after the roll-out of the COVID vaccines.
…
This isn’t proof, per se, but there appears to be a strong circumstantial connection that demands explanation. Especially in light of the long known concentration of the Spike Protein in human reproductive organs.
This next is a link to a Youtube video that features Ed Dowd, discussing the very disturbing trends in excess mortality. The video is an hour and a quarter in length. It’s full of interesting observations and I won’t try to summarize such a lengthy discussion—I’ll paste in the video’s description. This video was recommended by a commenter, whose name I’ve misplaced. Dowd, as you’ll see, is coming out with a book on this topic:
Ed Dowd Exposes "Sudden Adult Deaths" Increase & New mRNA Data w/ Dr. Kelly Victory – Ask Dr. Drew
Ed Dowd - a highly successful stock analyst - amassed evidence from the insurance industry, funeral industry & government databases showing excessive deaths among working-age Americans increased in 2021 versus 2020. Dowd believes mRNA is connected and says he has the smoking gun evidence to prove it: revealed exclusively on Ask Dr. Drew.

Throughout his stock picking career, Ed Dowd utilized pattern recognition to get ahead of his peers and the street before his bullish or bearish thesis became consensus. Early in 2021, he noticed a rise of news anecdotes about sudden deaths among very fit athletes and other seemingly healthy young people across the country. Edward has amassed evidence from the insurance industry, funeral home industry, and government databases that excessive deaths among working-age Americans have increased in 2021 versus 2020. His thesis was simple: What changed in 2021?
Readers may be familiar with Dowd’s presentation regarding excess mortality. Dowd has updated that presentation.
On to US politics—and back to Alexander Mercouris, who has made some interesting comments regarding Trump’s announced candidacy. I offer this summary of his views because, while he’s not infallible, he is definitely a shrewd observer of the political scene.
On the one hand, Mercouris sees disturbing signs that Trump’s ego is getting in the way of an effective candidancy. Mercouris is also disturbed by reports that Trump does little reading.
On the other hand …
He believes that Trump remains the only “agent of change” in US politics. While he doesn’t discount DeSantis’ political acumen and success in Florida, he doesn’t count himself as a DeSantis believer at this point—he doesn’t believe that DeSantis is on the same level as Trump as an “agent of change”, which is what America desperately needs.
FWIW.
Finally, from Red State:
Midterm Exit Polls Show Some Disturbing News for Democrats When It Comes to Minority Voters
According to exit polls conducted by CNN, Democratic support among minority men and women has dropped considerably from where they were after the 2018 midterm elections.
Democratic candidates enjoyed an 85-point advantage over Republicans with Black women. This year, this number dropped to 78. Among Black men, the Democrats’ lead dropped from 76 percent in 2018 to 65 percent in 2022. This represents a seven-point drop among Black women and an 11-point drop for men.
Democrats led Republicans with Latina women by 47 points in 2018. This year, it dropped to 33 points. Among Latino men, Democratic candidates led by 29 points in 2018. This number fell to eight points in 2022. This means the party’s support dropped by 14 points with women and 21 points with men.
Needless to say, this is not good news for Democrats. The party still leads Republicans with Black and Brown voters, but their advantage is starting to shrink significantly. If they do not find a way to reverse this trend, it will only get worse for the left.
There is a multitude of factors contributing to this trend. Much of the issue is economic. Both demographics cited inflation and economic concerns as their top priorities going into the midterm elections. Democrats’ performance in this regard has been rather abysmal, despite their claims to the contrary. The notion that the economy wasn’t as bad as it seems was a hard sell when people are paying substantially more for groceries and gas.
Another issue – especially when it concerns Black voters – is the reality that Democrats have shown that they take minority votes for granted. Black people, in particular, have been complaining that the Biden administration is intent on doing for every other group while telling African Americans to keep waiting for them to effect positive change.
Maybe I should change my handle to Super Skeptical Texan?
Q : Who would know best how to cause the S-300 missile system's guidance to fail?
A : Russia, Russia, Russia
Q : Does anyone believe Mitch really wanted to win a majority?
A : I DID NOT!!! The idiot R's reelected Mitch as leader . . .
Q : Does anyone believe any political polls are accurate?
A : NOT ME !!!
Q : Do you believe that the 2022 elections were honest in Dem. controlled areas, including S. Texas?
A : Plenty of evidence that corruption still reigns supreme.
Q : Why is the midterm "loss" Trump's fault?
A : Everything is Trump's fault.

Irony: in his announcement speech last night, **Trump said the missiles that hit Poland were fired "probably by Russia," aligning with Zelensky on the subject, and going against the more circumspect claims of Biden and others.** Does this mean Trump is "tougher" on Russia than Biden?
