Yesterday my wife and I were briefly reflecting on how naive Americans are as a nation, especially with regard to how America is governed. People seem to be waking up a bit, perhaps quite a bit, but many are still pretty foggy on some basic realities. Or maybe they’re
Every day in every way I keep getting more and more cynical, kinda like Inspector Dreyfus got better and better ? Seriously, I feel as though I am living out a nightmare, living in a land of morons ruled over by foreign occupiers.
Thx Tex: I was beginning to think it was just me. I can’t find the words to express my exasperation, disappointment, bewilderment and plain ol fashioned outrage.
If it wasn’t for this site and the folks like you that frequent it, I’d probably be booking a reservation at the nearest funny farm.
Can one assume if Zhou is taken out before the election and say replaced by Kamala chameleon that the Israel lobby is definitely shifting to Republican support? I believe she is anti-Israel if not mistaken.
Plus, I have a hard time believing a 23 year old kid on the NSC policy council will have much influence over the impact of this interview with the Israeli lobby.
"naive" is a too-charitable description of the American public. I'd say "ignorant." I know smart people that, basically, don't. want. to. know. And if you stopped 10 randos walking out of Costco, you can bet that 5-8 couldn't name the vice president. We're in a bubble here on this blog, wondering how the Russians are progressing in volchansk while half of America thinks Taiwan is in Hawaii (made-up stat, don't cite me). But, for real, I work with guys that think Disney Star Wars is good. Too many Americans uncritically accept what they're told by their corporate/govt masters and hence don't see the dissonance between that and reality. Boggles the mind, but explains where we are as a nation.

That's because you are.

Please keep your chin up and realize that you're the normal one.

It’s interesting Russia’s nuclear exercises follow Turkey’s declaration of state of emergency after an apparent coup plot.
Pretty significant operation by Turkey with over 500 people detained.
