IN Germany, the USA-NATO-Ukraine total is 60%.

In France, the total of all responses adds up to 140% (maybe they let people make more than one choice?), so you can't know what the actual USA-NATO-Ukraine total is, but it seems to be in the same neighborhood as Germany.

And as you say, both totals come despite all the propaganda.

Is this what the new Mayor Johnson had in mind for community policing.

I believe so. If you've been following the Alison Arwaddy saga you'll have noticed that her replacement--who claimed to have a PhD but doesn't--is a supporter of abolishing prisons as a *public health measure.*

So, not only did Johnson's government school teachers union masters demand that Arwaddy be fired in the most degrading way possible--because she wanted to reopen the schools and send the teachers back to work--but Johnson knew that she wouldn't be on board with closing prisons in the name of public health.

Yeah read that. We’re doomed here Mark.

I recommend an article in The Federalist "The Purpose Of The Trump Indictments Is To Demonstrate The Left’s Power" by J. D. Davidson. He is probably correct, but it demonstrates how stupid and arrogant they are. You get to keep the reins of power, but the horse won't move. They are making Trump the most powerful man in America, and maybe the world. So we pay taxes and don't J-walk. We might even participate in your policy initiatives, if Trump thinks it's a good idea.

Thanks for recommending this article - its great! The hypocrisy of the left in indicting Trump drives me crazy but Davidson is right: it’s beside the point. It’s all about hierarchy. The left has all the power and they are going to exercise it ruthlessly.

I'm sure that's true--the Left is always trying to pull that power trip stuff on the rest of us. We see it in any number of ways every day. I wish I could be confident it won't work. I agree that it's helping Trump at this point, probably more than if he weren't indicted.

They hold they are virtuous? They are not just happy to be successful power and money grabbers? Sick, sick, sick....and evil.

It is worse than that. They have moved the goalposts, if they ever had any. This is Humpty Dumpty 'I am the master', Heidigger 'being', and Sartre 'existentialism' , where man dictates morality and changes it at will. At least Iago knew he was evil. These people know nothing. They make it up as they go along.

Perhaps the neocons will offer the parts of Poland full of Ukrainian refugees or one of the Baltics for Crimea.

No Joke!

Great deal, Jack!

Somehow - call me crazy - I don't think Putin is going to bite. Any part of Ukraine left out of Russian control will simply become the forward operation base for the next neocon wheeze. It's going to amusing hearing what the neocons have to offer in 3 months time.

Yep - dead letter on arrival. Crimea = Russian navy warm water port. Been that way for over 300yrs. It is the last thing that would be yielded. Zero incentive for Russia to alter tactics of letting the West punch themselves out. None other than the Russian Defense minister made that point this week

It is amazing how clearly Russia has made crystalline their wants, red lines, and acceptable paths to return to normalcy. The Tucker-RFK Jr interview covers this ground in detail. The picture that emerges places the neo-con set in odious territory

I've just listened to the Duran talk about the proposed "deal". It shows that the neocons are the new Bourbons: they've learned nothing and forgotten nothing. The WHOLE geopolitical catalyst of Russia's attack on Ukraine was the NATO membership issue. It's the reddest of red lines. And the neocons really believe that Russia will accept that! In their arrogance, the cookie bringers can't understand that it is Russia that is calling the shots, not them. They are still trapped in their glory days of toppling Saddam and Quadafi.

And for the NeoCons the catalyst has been getting control of Crimea and thereby control of the Black Sea. They really must have a dim view of the Russians if they think Putin will trade the Donbas for Crimea.

Yep. "Freedom of Navigation", or something. Putin should put in a counter-claim for the Gulf of Mexico.

The neocons will be disappointed once more. Russia isn't going to take any nonsense concerning the Black Sea. If we think Ukraine is existential for Russia, wait until the neocons make their moves in the Black Sea.

I so appreciate the cynical joke that is carried by pointing to Saddam and Quadafi as glory days for the US military. Cue Mark Steyn's entrance for the follow-on discussion of the US and winning much of anything (much less the ethics of what we have gotten involved with) since 1945. What, Grenada? Panama?

Plus it seems that the Russian general staff and the Russian people have very clear expectations of what they want Putin to achieve in Ukraine. They won't tolerate some half-arsed deal that will be broken ten minutes later.
