Just to inject a bit of humour into these grim days for France (and, as you point out Mark, strange similarities with the US), a cartoon showing a picture of Sigmund Freud has made the rounds with the caption: “Bizarre election between she who killed her father and he who married his mother!” - referring to Marine Le Pen’s break with her father Jean-Marie, and of course Brigitte Macron…this whole consultancy scandal goes back to Sarkozy, who lunched on a friend’s yacht almost the day after he was elected in ‘07…I think Chirac was the last president who actually liked shaking hands and talking to people (although he had his own scandals when mayor of Paris) - at least you felt the genuine connection with the country…now you get that stomach-turning realization that, as with Zhou, there is a higher sovereignty, a higher allegiance…and it’s M. “Je vous emmerde” (go to hell is the polite translation!) who will be crowned head of a France in the clutches of Davos…
McKinsey is awful. I would put nothing past them. Hell, McKinsey may be the real cabal behind all this globalist crap.
I had to work with them when I was still in public company doing international and multistage tax planning. I left working anywhere that files anything with the SEC because I got tired of the 💩 every time I had to do anything directly with a member of the c-suite or McKinsey - afterwards I felt like I needed 25 showers and still felt like a shitty person (though I wasn’t afraid to speak up, which they hate). 🤮
Why do I get the feeling that what appears to be happening in France is going to happen here during the mid-terms? All of this talk about a Democratic Party route and the resurgence of the Republicans, will somehow miraculously fail to materialize when the 81 million people who voted for Zhou come to their senses at the last minute and pull victory from the jaws of defeat for the statist’s. It will be a twenty first century Phoneix rising from the ashes. Or, maybe it will just be another giant swindle perpetrated against the true will of the people. Anyone believe that the Deep State will not go there to maintain their grasp on the levers of power?
If the Dems manage to retain control of congress--thereby enabling Biden to continue swinging his wrecking ball at every last edifice of the republic--I would not want live or work in D.C.
I cannot even imagine what that would mean for everyday life in the U.S.
There is a point at which the polarization in the country reaches critical mass and I think another election cycle that does not pass the smell test would surely push us over the edge.
The utterly preposterous nature of thinking that Biden got anywhere near 81 million votes has for me always been common sense proof that it didn’t happen. But then again, I’m not Bill Barr.
All I can say is, listen to Ritter's reasoning. His response to you would be that by joining NATO Finland would be self identifying as an enemy of Russia--since that's the whole point of NATO. Your points of difference make perfect sense, but leave out of account the hyper strategic location--close to the home base for Russian subs, close to St. Petersburg. I'm not saying he's right, but it's an interesting argument.

The globalists speaking among themselves:
How dare those proud Gauls . . . having the gall to recall the days of de Galle!

Don't think so, however don't underestimate Zhou's people to use a war as a rally cry.

If LePen loses the run off, which I expect, then I totally agree with you. We haven’t a chance.

Will be accomplished.
I vote for both.

Agreed... losing neutrality is what the Zhou regime wants. Rosemont Seneca is drooling.
Or France might IF they are allowed to vote and the votes are counted honestly.
Tikanis, Mary. As below, Alithos Anesti! May you have a blessed Holy Week and Pascha.
