It’s been apparent that, amid mounting disasters for the Zhou regime, the tactic adopted has been to attempt to deflect public unrest by talking up Covid policies and taking new ‘tough’ (i.e., wildly unreasonable) Covid measures that target those who the regime thinks are Trump supporters. Have a question about the Afghan bugout? Lemme tell you about vaccines. Inflation, border security? Vaccines, vaccines. Or, in the alternative: Vaccines, masks, stupid unvaxed.
New polling from the liberal outfit Ipsos/Axios has revealed the bankruptcy of this tactic. It’s probably also a measure of the degree to which the public is catching on to official propaganda. Zhou’s recent statement that normal life will only return when 97% of Americans are vaxxed—an utterly unreasonable and anti-science position—must have left many Americans deeply disturbed:
Most Americans No Longer Trust Biden's COVID Info, New Poll Finds
Trust in Zhou to provide reliable information regarding Covid has plummeted by 13 points since January. That leaves his support on what had been one relatively bright policy point now deeply underwater at 45%. These two graphs tell the story—note that even among Dems support is flagging (down by 11 points):
Although the trend has been steeply and steadily downward since early May, a very noticeable drop off the cliff coincides with the revelation of other disasters in August.
This is accompanied by growing distrust of the federal government generally, according to the poll (down to 49%). That finding undoubtedly reflects growing distrust of the Covid Regime overall, including the ‘expert’ bureaucratic agencies such as CDC and FDA.
I don't see how Biden rescues his image between now and the midterms. As they say, never underestimate the GOP's ability to screw things up, but I just don't see Biden's problems going away any time soon. If anything, there is a good chance it actually gets worse. There is a reason why sometimes bad things keep happening to some people. It's not always bad luck--people know a loser when they see one, and act accordingly.
When Dumbocrats actually believe that if they get Covid there is a 40%+ chance that they will end up in the hospital, the media has done its job well. In Australia, the government seems to be coordinating censoring and narrative responses in order to drive fear into the elderly population. Many on the right believe that election integrity must be our main focus and and the predicate to all other policy priorities. I respectfully disagree. Our first priority must be to break Big Tech and social media's control over news and information. It is the root cause of every policy problem that we have. Without their gaslighting and finger on the scales, none of these radical, plainly fallacious narratives could be pushed or sustained. Either we take down Big Tech or we will live in a world in which they insidiously garner more power and control.
