Anyone heard of The Great Invocation? It's a universal prayer for the world. I think we are now at a point when we should all at least consider it'd words and their meaning:

The Great Invocation

From the point of Light within the Mind of God

Let light stream forth into the minds of men.

Let Light descend on Earth.

From the point of Love within the Heart of God

Let love stream forth into the hearts of men.

May Christ* return to Earth.

From the centre where the Will of God is known

Let purpose guide the little wills of men –

The purpose which the Masters know and serve.

From the centre which we call the race of men

Let the Plan of Love and Light work out

And may it seal the door where evil dwells.

Let Light and Love and Power restore the Plan on Earth.

"May Christ* return to Earth."

Those keen to sacrifice that pure red heifer are for sure very keen to hasten that event.

On the not-at-all-sus website of Lucis Trust the asterisk references a footnote like so:

*Many religions believe in a World Teacher, a “Coming One”, knowing him under such names

as the Lord Maitreya, the Imam Mahdi, the Kalki Avatar and the Bodhisattva. These terms are

sometimes used in versions of the Great Invocation for people of specific faiths.

They tactfully do not include Lucifer in the list, I suppose....

I don't know that website. I just like the prayer. It seemed communal to me.

It's capable of being interpreted that way for sure, and is probably well-meant, but Lucis Trust is regarded with suspicion by some. My own take is that Theosophy was an attempt to synthesise Eastern religious teachings and belongs in the same category as what I'd call Californian Zen. Esalin Institute etc. The Theosophists speculate that a spiritual hierarchy watches over us protectively. If Klaus Schwab is an example then, nah, no thanks.

I think, like many over the last few years, I'm facing some sort of spiritual/theological 'questioning'. Way too big a topic to discuss in comments. I've not heard of theosophy before. I'll read upon it. As for Klaus Schwab - nothing spiritual about him. I'm convinced there are humans among us who do not possess a soul and he's one of them.

Remember the old commercial: When E. F. Hutton talks, people listen. Today's updated version: When Neocons blather, sensible people slap their foreheads.

With the neocons and the jewnocide, Leonard Cohen’s The Future is becoming more prescient:

‘…Get ready for the future: It is murder

Things are going to slide (slide) in all directions

Won't be nothing (won't be)

Nothing you can measure anymore

The blizzard, the blizzard of the world

Has crossed the threshold

And it's overturned the order of the soul…’

Mike, "jewnocide"? Knock that off. Lots of ethno-religious groups have committed genocide. It's not specific to Jews.

The sinking of a USN carrier would prove to be as fatally provocative as the assassination of the Archduke in Sarajevo which is generally considered to be the spark that ignited WWl. I don’t see the US not responding in an overwhelmingly military manner. Of course if the Secretary of the Navy is anything like the Secretary of Defense……….

The "Shock and Awe" of Yemen has started.

Every time I think the NeoCons can't get any dumber they exceed all expectations.

Oil prices are already up tonight and if this continues Biden might as well start packing his bags.

Come on Lyon, man, you just don’t understand, the media is reporting it the wrong way! As soon as they get it right, I’m sure things will be just fine and Uncle Joe won’t need to pack his bags but can break open the champagne.

Because the Secretary of Defense will notify him! If he feels like it. If he’s available. If anybody can find him. Oh hell, he can see it on CNN, same place BHO found out about really important stuff.

Did I miss something? It was the first thing I read this AM;

UN Security Council Resolution 2722 adopted yesterday; press.un.org/en/2024/sc15561.doc.htm ,

demanding a halt to Yemeni operations in the Red Sea and condemning

attacks by Yemeni armed forces on merchant vessels....

Russia, China, Algeria and Mozambique abstained.

Sounded to me like Libya redux. Not Medvedev this time.

US/UK rejected 3 amendments by the Russian Federation.

Al Mayadeen said the Resolution was written by the US and Japan.

“Would SecDef Austin push back hard against crazy proposals? Oh, wait …”

The SoD whose picture is on the back of a milk carton is recovering from surgery and an ICU stay. Which means he is probably under the influence of pain pills. The docs have probably restricted his permission to drive an automobile, much less strategize and approve launching WW3. Oh, what a mess. And his “boss” isn’t in any better shape either.

The only thing Austin is pushing back hard against is a hospital bed. As for me, I'm with the RoW: rootin' for the houtis. I'm not whitewashing the Arab nations, but the West is totally evil at this point.
