The Augustinian tradition attempted to salvage human contact with reality with a theological patch—the idea of “divine illumination” of the mind on the occasion of contact with the real world. Tom Luongo talked a fair bit about narcissists earlier this year. One of his points was that “Narcissists never back down. They double down”. I find this to be an important insight in dealing with them. There is no reasoning with them and grace-giving must be done with great care.
The Lord has paid for the sins of all. But only those who choose Him will be saved. It's a matter of free will. God won't force Himself on those who don't want Him.
And connect this with the increased “fortifying” of elections to get the right results in the US.
And the more people get frustrated with our idiot corrupt government, the more the election process gets fortified/ screws tightened, which enraged people even more. As they lose more and more trust in our election system.
Rasmussen polls just commented election fraud is making election polling unreliable.
Todays treehouse polls on uniparty election fraud to get rid of Trump is timely.
There are limits to metaphors. Maybe a ‘crumbling’ house is better - innocents will recognize their abhorrent circumstances and leave. Perverts(social engineers/narcissists/architects of babel) won’t.
