That photo from the Zerohedge article is worth 1,000 words. Terrible. I wonder how our media will play this (Mark already mentioned their complete silence). Cause how do you square the perfidy of Uncle Sam (Zhou) with his ill-treatment, abandonment, of Ukraine/Zelensky, model of democracy, sovereignty and victim of Russian agression? I dunno! What is worrying is this pathetic road show will be moving on to China…

We’ll, Einstein was once supposed to have remarked that he thought that the only things that were infinite were time and space, but in light of the amount of stupidity in the world he was reconsidering his position.

These people have absolutely no concept of the evil that has been done to Ukraine because of their consummate incompetence.

The response from the Biden Administration is going to be a big peace push.

But why would the Russians Agree to a Minsk 3, that only provides a pause to get through the 2024 US Election, and allows Ukraine to re-arm?

I don’t see the US / Europe making the needed concessions to get an agreement.

AmericanCardigan's avatar

Wouldn’t that feed into Trump’s peace initiative? Agreed as i don’t see the concession buy in either.

I have to say, I really like this analysis. I agree, it could work really, really well. And, besides having the added benefit of being true, it would make the world a safer place for us plebs/worker bees.

Am I reading too much into Biden’s remarks, but when he said that we’ve given Ukraine more than everyone else combined, was that the kiss off?

Wonderful post, Mr. Wauck. How ironic that the man who was endlessly vilified for being belligerent and aggressive is, in fact, the peace candidate. Up is down. Welcome to Wonderland, dear Alice.

Can I get an Amen! Two huge benefits for Trump.

1) Huge open space for the "Peace candidate" that will isolate others. Guessing only Vivek & RFKjr have the balls to join the peace initiative. Also love comments about unique opportunity for Trump to frame anti Russian hysteria behind war propaganda as part of Russia Russia Russia served up by Hillary in 2016 to offset her email foibles. After Hillary cleaned up from Russian at Clinton Foundation on Uranium One deal and Bill got $500K for 20 minute speech to Russian execs, she turned and look where we are. Unbelievable we're seeing USA standing in world economy and military strength decimated.

2) It's morally the RIGHT thing to do. Destroying Ukraine blood, land and treasure while playing chicken with WW3 as outcome is beyond corruption and immorality.

Hope you’re right! However Trump was shown the door because he got too close to Zhou-Ukraine chicanery and was a threat to the Dems’ scheme to go to war against Russia ($$). In 2020 we were cheated out of peace.

"Trump jailed for the cause of international peace?" Love that framing. He is, indeed, positioning himself quite well.

OK, I forgot to mention Trump and Covid and how being the peace candidate helps him on that score. Being the peace candidate can't change Trump's failure on Covid, but neither the Dems nor MOST Republican candidates will attack him on that score. OTOH, being the peace candidate is a powerful way to change the national conversation to a topic of his choosing.

I agree the politico's are unlikely to use Covid to smear him as their is plenty of ignominy to go around both sides on that score. However, there are many people who are still blasting Trump (and for good reason) on his poor Covid performance. Ill feelings were further outraged as he has been unwilling to acknowledge that mistake. The inability to admit a mistake will for many, especially those who were hurt economically and career wise, find it tough to forgive and forget. If he is truly finding his footing as the peace candidate then needs to get a handle on the issues of pandemic as TPTB are already talking about another such event which ratchets up the tensions already visible among the greater population.

Not so fast. RFK jr is grabbing headlines now as he is tapping into the anxiety of the populace regarding vaccines and future pandemic lock downs, but when you peel away the rhetoric on the vaccine you still have a candidate with a decidedly left leaning view on climate change.

At least RFK Jr is bringing attention to Big Pharma / Covid / Vaccines. That is a huge public service. As well as his comments on the Intel community. The pushback from the msm is incredible.

The rest of his beliefs seems the standard Leftist BS, including climate change, he is an environmental lawyer. I have no idea his stand on DEI.

Sorry to burst the bubble here, but I still don't see how Trump's message matters if voter fraud is not addressed. And it is not being addressed. Someone help me with this, please!

I appreciate your hard work on this vital area.

I wish the gop establishment had your energy addressing voter fraud nationwide, especially with voter rolls and absentee voters.

PA was overwhelming for Trump in 2020, as was Az for Lake. At least Az is still in the court system being litigated, and exposing the fraud.

BTW, my wife and I listened to CBS radio news. No mention of Trump. At all. It turns out the Zhou "doubled down" by saying that his regime "stands for freedom as long as it takes". Ha ha! That and $50 bucks should get Zelensky a dress shirt!

Believe it or not, FDR did, too, in 1940:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1940_United_States_presidential_election

Roosevelt, acutely aware of strong isolationist and non-interventionist sentiment, promised there would be no involvement in foreign wars if he were re-elected.

Go figure, right?
