That last paragraph nails it, but there is an advantage in having a government of wolves. FDR had fireside chats and to this day Hoover gets the blame for "The Grapes of Wrath" depression which was so much worse ten years after the crash. Everybody was patriotic while his crony capitalists traded with the enemy, in violation of the law, during WW2. He was re-elected, no steal necessary, for a total of 5 terms. We had no idea. Now we know, and can adjust accordingly. They can cause damage, but without public support any major projects or wars are not possible.

This is all so incredibly stupid. They are playing with fire, and they will get burnt. Reichstag fire, indeed! The Bolsheviks and Nazis came to power after really bad times. This crew is coming after we finally had a recovery, and are making everything bad again. Bernays sold soap, real soap. They are selling misery. As usual in these cases, they are turning on each other, and the Supreme Court is discovering what it means when they enable bad people by not challenging them. No doubt their propaganda works for a portion of the population, but those who by their hard work keep the country functioning are immune, especially as they have been disadvantaged by government policies. Most importantly, not content with rhetoric and censorship, they have engaged in severe and unprecedented violations of the law, and will almost certainly double down to avoid facing the consequences, going more and more extreme. Eventually...

It would seem that we are at the same place that brought this country into existence, or am I overreacting?

For the metaverse to be all encompassing by 2030 which is a mere 7 1/2 years away, they better release their flying monkeypox to kill off a Whole lot of us. Their metaverse will never work with as many people alive right now. The clot shot is going to take too long but I guess they need a slow die off so people don’t start doing some ‘thinking’ and connecting dots. :)

Just call it what it is. Fear mongering. Control through fear. Working on my wife so far.

Social Media influencing has been part of the deep state for a while. And it was used against Trump. There was some tool they developed, that became part of the resistance. I can't remember the details.

And the Post Office was monitoring social media:

And this story, about a joke on twitter, that resulted in refused entry was eye opening and that was way back in 2012:

Because we trusted that our system of elections is safe and secure when it is anything but, then you no longer have a government “of the people, by the people and for the people.”

We were fooled into thinking that we had elections instead of selections. Only those deemed useful to the end goal of Marxist totalitarianism will be allowed to be advanced and selected. Politicians as performative actors in a make believe alternative reality. As long as the electronic voting machines continue to be allowed, elections will be for entertainment purposes and money making operations. No true decisions about who is selected to play the part of representative of the people will occur during elections. Those decisions will be made in advance without our consent. I’m afraid that the time to be able to vote our way out of this mess has passed. Time now to stand aside and protect yourself and those you love from the rubble falling about around us.

Nothing fictional about that, just ahead of the times.

This is worse than a Civil War because as you say it will continue indefinitely. One doesn't deal with a government of wolves. One protects oneself as best one can. Nor can wolves expect co-operaton from their intended victims. Laws will be made to be broken, by both sides. In the final analysis they will have a semblance of winning. We will win, in so many ways, but just don't brag about it.
