When the question first came up of a possible asymmetrical response by Russia to America’s escalation of long range attacks into Russia, one of the possible options we discussed was an attack on US drones over the Black Sea, which are used to help target Russian assets.
I find it quite disturbing and strange that Russia doesn't have a more extensive early warning system against ICBMs than a chain of radar posts, and that these posts aren't better protected. Let's hope they have other systems available. Meanwhile, Russia does indeed have plenty of asymmetrical options. I wouldn't like to be a GI Joe or Jane in one of those illegal bases in Syria or Iraq right now.
I read that Russian "warships" are headed for Cuba. If that's asymmetry, I like it. I'm looking forward to the day when the US preferred method of bombing a country and its innocent population to smithereens will be outmoded.

This is something that the Russians should have done long ago.
