The survey results are to me not that surprising but are really encouraging. Aside from that it is encouraging that they were even published.
Only 25% of MPs? Should we take that as an indicator of the relative importance of the UK and the US from Israel's perspective? I guess that gives us a good idea of where the problem lies, then.
BTW, Gold tanked today (down 3.5%). The media explanation was a "pause" in Chinese buying of Gold. I do wonder, however, if this isn't a response to the Turkish news and an early indicator of a new more general commodities war between the West and BRICS.
As regards the Saudi - China CBDC story that shouldn't be a surprise. It is but an exploratory step in moving away from the Petrodollar but due diligence would require that the Saudis explore this. It would also give the U.S. plenty time to dissuade such a move away from the Petrodollar if we actually had diplomats and economists.
H5N1 is not new. Rinse and repeat. This is not a new virus.
In the USA, there have been 3 cases so far with this "outbreak". Each year, somewhere in the world - there are a few cases that pop up now and then. It is not unusual.
Did they used to test for H5N1 in cattle? I don't know - but I highly doubt it. So, who knows what the actual background incidence is...
The first known instance of the H5N1 virus was in 1996 when it was detected in geese in Guangdong, China.
This whole fear of this scary virus is fearporn being spread by the MSM, who are being egged on by the WHO and the HHS.
Of course, it was a total coincidence that this mass hysteria campaign was timed to coincide during the failed pandemic treaty negotiations.
Regarding the Iger/Disney story on Zerohedge I also read that and responded to Cassander's post as follows:
"I've often wondered if the new owner/executive management chose Disney for this purpose. Knowing Disney was beloved by traditional Americans for it's movies and entertainment that was family friendly (growing up Catholic my parents kept the approved movie list posted and basically only Disney qualified for under 18 content). If the intent is to capture the children and shape their minds Disney is it! Also what revenge to take on Walt Disney who was accused of antisemitism then to drive his name into the mud."
I suspect, Mark, you may remember the movie ranking list I'm talking about. In 1967 when "The Graduate" came out my girlfriend (protestant and younger than me by one year) saw it with her older sister, and poor me didn't see it until I graduated three years later. I was so envious. We saw Disney movies or something the Church approved of or nothing. Man, those were different times or my parents were strict. We were real throwbacks and all the facets of the church liturgical calendar were observed. The Orthodox Greeks call this "Phronema" (Φρόνημα). Living the the faith to the fullest.
1) India losing trust with the West 2) Closer alignment w/BRICS 3) Reduces potential to have it confiscated by the West 4) New coalition needed by Modi to govern - may need flexibility 5) May need to leverage it to reinforce payments to Saudi's for oil.
Consistent theme of news is how much gov’t and corporate leadership are pursuing self interests and agendas directly at odds with their communities, members and stakeholders. The scary part is how much they’ve been able to get away with. The loss of real & timely accountability and risk management inevitably leads to a systemic overshoot and collapse.
A recent example was the 2008 financial crisis, directly the result of easy mortgage credit and bankers making $$$ on fees from repackaged (high risk) mortgages. Some saw the oncoming train and positioned accordingly (watch The Big Short) but the collapse came and nearly destroyed our economy. In terms of accountability, no one went to jail.
The lack of accountability continues. Our justice system has been turned on political opposition (J6th, Peter Navarro, Roger Stone, Steve Bannon and DJT), election integrity is destroyed (censorship of Hunter laptop, mail in ballot cheating, Zuckerberg $400 million to compromise local election control) and media enables litany of Ukraine lies that has us on the verge of WW3 and nuclear war.
We live in a Republic but if you emphasize that then people will realize how little representation they have. On the other hand if you emphasize Democracy then people will just think I got to vote and it didn't go my way.
It varies, depending on where you live and the level of the government election. On a macro Federal level, absolutely not. I support this by drawing attention to the vigorous resistance by certain parties and apathy of others to strengthening voting requirements and procedures.
Remember it was always “look to Europe” for how smart societies do things….except on how to hold elections.
We need trust busters.

I still haven't seen that movie.
And India is being back its foreign reserve gold in the UK - Why?
https://robcampbell.substack.com/p/ukraine-weekly-update-d1b?
And the list of Ukrainian attacks on Russian civilians is shocking.

Sorry, someone taught me lists. LOL
Great points!
Especially if India is at greater risk due to increased business with Russia.
Or perhaps a foundation is being laid for foreign trade settlements outside Western Systems / US dollar, but something related to Brics and Gold.

We’re watching as Rome burns.
All in the name of "National Security".
Do we and the Europeans live in democracies if the government ignores what we want them to do?
